We arrived at 9 AM, and although it was a holiday, there were few people in the park, giving us a VIP experience as if we had chartered the ship. The children were very happy to see the large ship and the creative designs in the exhibition. The explanations and interactivity in the exhibition area were also very thoughtful, providing a fun and in-depth exploration. The De Yang missile destroyer, commonly known as the De Yang warship, is one of the Yang-class destroyers of the Republic of China Navy. Its original vessel was the USS Sarsfield (DD-837), a Gearing-class destroyer of the United States Navy. After decommissioning, the De Yang was berthed at Anping Port in Anping District, Tainan City, in 2009.

The ticket price is the same whether you buy it on-site or on Klook, both are 100 NTD. Children under 6 years old are free. Inside, it introduces how former County Magistrate Hsu Wen-tsai actively campaigned for the integrity of the Deyang Destroyer to be used as a warship museum for public viewing. Although not all small hatches can be opened (due to some safety risks), you can still learn a lot about the internal structure of the warship.
