This is my "save the best for last tour". Unfortunately, we are unable to ride the Bongbong train because we are a little late, but the view here is awesome and the weather is very cold, and we love it. I love the hot spring here too.

We went at the end of October, so it was misty and rainy, which can be somewhat troublesome. It was 12 degrees, so do wear thicker clothing! Because it was so misty, it felt like we were in a Japanese mountain from a movie. We managed to go to the hot spring (around 25-30 minutes) and cook corn and eggs! I recommend bringing a swimming cap, slippers, and swimwear for the hot spring! It would also be good to bring your own bread to go along with the corn and egg, although they do sell Ba Zhang (and some basic burger buns) there. Our driver, Qisong, is very friendly and helpful with excellent driving skills! Oh, I really liked the Bong Bong train too! Please note that for the Bong Bong, you'll have to go up a staircase – I saw some other older visitors struggling, but they managed to climb it. It might not be suitable for people with difficulty climbing.

Today, I want to share my unforgettable experience at Taipingshan! 🌲 First, I visited the Jiancing Historic Trail. The scenery on both sides of the trail was truly breathtaking, making me want to keep taking photos 📸. Next, I ventured into the Taiwan Hemlock Forest Trail, feeling enveloped by the dense forest. The air was incredibly fresh, as if I was breathing in a full dose of phytoncides. 🌲 I also went stargazing at the Taipingshan platform, lying there and admiring the sky full of stars ✨ – it was truly romantic. 😍 The trails at Taipingshan are all easy to walk, and the scenery is superb, making it perfect for a relaxing weekend trip. I also took many beautiful photos there and can't wait to share them with everyone. This trip to Taipingshan truly allowed my mind and body to relax. I highly recommend everyone to experience it! 👍 Taipingshan is definitely a mountain worth visiting ⛰️! Booking was hassle free and convenient. Absolutely loved my visit to Taipingshan National Forest! The scenery was breathtaking—every corner looked like it came straight out of a postcard. It was incredibly peaceful and beautiful, the perfect escape into nature. One of the highlights was definitely the bong bong train ride—such a fun and charming experience! I left feeling refreshed and in awe of the natural beauty. Will 100% be coming back! Highly recommended for anyone who loves nature, tranquility, and a bit of adventure.

This is the highlight of our tour in Taiwan. We had so much fun. It's fun riding the Bong Bong train. It's 5°C here, so it's better to wear appropriate clothes. Geothermal cooking with the locals is also a unique experience. I noticed no foreign tourists here, so expect fewer crowds. Highly recommended tour.

The silent valley offers spectacular views. I suggest people visit during winter; apparently, it snows there. Never miss the hot springs and cooking in them. The yellow Bom Bom train is the highlight.

Using this voucher granted us a quick and convenient entry into the Taipingshan National Forest Recreation Area. No more queuing and no hassle of having to purchase it right on the spot. We were in a van upon entering, so we only had to hand over our phones to the security guards at the entrance. They just swiftly scanned our Klook QR Code and that was it. We were in!
