Passeio de 2 dias e 1 noite no Parque Nacional Bako, Sarawak, com Caminhada Noturna de Safári

Bako National Park is definitely a must-stay for at least one night. We got to experience the night walk, looking for insects and simply enjoying the sounds of the night forest. There was a couple of hours of rain during the day, but that didn't dampen our excitement to see the wild animals. The walking trails that Jol, our guide, took us on weren't difficult. Jol is a very knowledgeable guide, and he knows Bako inside out. He can bring us to specific locations to spot monkeys and other wild animals. Just note that the accommodation is non-air-conditioned, but it wasn't that hot as there are wall-mounted fans in the room.

Booked the tour for convenience and everything was well arranged, from the pick up to the return trip. The guide, Jo, was great at spotting wildlife, which we wouldn't have seen by ourselves. Having a guide also made things smoother, from check in to meals.

Hotel Pickup: Company reached out beforehand want to pickup and start itinerary earlier which we're ok with. Drive to jetty was a bit bumpy and felt as if we're being chased 😂 Meetup with tour guide at jetty: Tour guide Jol and Aden gave information for the whole itinerary, took well care of us and let us explore the wildlife as best as we could during our 2D1N stay. They are professional and knowledgeable about the animals there. Hike: You get to choose the hike trail that you want. Bring lots of mosquitoe repellant and stay hydrated. Hotel Dropoff: Driver drove safely and smoothly 👍🏻 Overall, its a great one-time experience and highly recommend to anyone visiting Sarawak!

This is a tricky review. First of all, the company and especially Den our guide were first rate excellent and we would recommend them completely. However, that said, the actual treks to look for animals was pretty underwhelming as you basically walked for maybe 1 km on walkways and hardly penetrate the actual. jungle. Our guide was excellent in explaining the different fauna and flora and we did see Silver Leaf and Proboscis monkeys, a green viper, a frog and a poisonous worm. No crocs and pics of monkeys were very hard to get clearly unless you had pro level kit. But the worse part was the accomodation: we imagined that we would be trekking someway into the jungle to stay in some kind of lodge but in reality we were in a block house just behind the entrance centre 100m from the beach. Our room was just about functional with a mattress on the floor, a fridge, 2 fans and a lot of mould on the walls. It was not the best night's sleep. Food at the centre was good though.

We really enjoyed Bako Park, and thanks to our amazing guide Den, we got to see many animals (proboscis monkeys, silver leaf monkeys, snakes, lemurs, etc.). Den adapted the tour to our pace and wishes, and made sure we saw as much as we could. He also made us feel safe during the night safari walk. Huge thanks for a great tour 🙏 The only inconvenience was that we weren't able to choose the type of room we stayed in when booking through Klook, so although the room was clean, we ended up with a shared bathroom. Had we known, we would have asked for a different type of accommodation.

No puedo recomendar este paquete turístico lo suficiente. Por pura suerte, terminamos teniendo un guía solo para nosotros, su nombre es Joe y, sinceramente, fue el mejor guía que hemos tenido en nuestros viajes. Nos cuidó todo el tiempo, llevándonos a zonas especiales y parecía saber exactamente dónde encontrar a los animales; pudimos ver lo apasionado que era por su trabajo. De hecho, terminamos haciendo 3 caminatas el primer día y 1 caminata y un paseo en bote el segundo día, lo cual fue mucho más de lo que esperábamos. En total, vimos prácticamente todos los animales que esperábamos ver, incluidos los monos narigudos (¡muchos de ellos!), jabalíes, macacos, lémures voladores, víboras verdes, todo tipo de otros insectos, lagartos, serpientes, peces, etc. ¡la lista continúa! Joe estaba lleno de conocimientos y pudo responder cualquier pregunta que tuviéramos. Hacía muchísimo calor mientras visitábamos y Joe lo tuvo en cuenta, asegurándose de que nuestras caminatas no fueran demasiado extenuantes. También se incluye mucha comida en el paquete, así que nunca pasamos hambre. Los traslados desde y hacia el parque fueron extremadamente fluidos y organizados. ¡Definitivamente reserven este tour y muchísimas gracias a Joe por hacer de esta la experiencia más increíble!

Una actividad agradable. Las caminatas fueron agotadoras, pero pudimos ver mucha vida silvestre. ¡En general, esta es una actividad placentera! =)

This was my second visit to Bako, and I'm so glad I chose the 2-day, 1-night package from Klook. It saved us the trouble of researching and comparing local operators, and the price from Klook was excellent. The package included meals, water, and a guide. I recommend bringing extra water if you drink a lot, like I do. I loved the wildlife and landscapes that nature has created. The highlights of our stay were the bearded pigs and their piglets, proboscis monkeys right outside our lodge, silvery lutungs, and a pit viper! It might be better to plan your visit to avoid monsoon season, as we had to cancel our night safari due to heavy thunderstorms. But even so, we had a lot of fun.

Incredible tour. Saw many proboscis monkeys, silver leaf monkeys, and more. Loved staying overnight in the park as it was very quiet.
