Excursão de um dia ao Parque Nacional Bako em Kuching

Highly educational and enjoyable tour, recommended. Easy to moderately difficult hiking, memorable photos. Malindo from Ooo Haa Adventure Tours was a very humorous guide & speaks fluent English. He fetched us from our hotel near Waterfront at 7.30am. [Btw, he can also pick up from airport but additional charge may apply. Can leave luggages in his van.] Our tour was flexible as the group only consists of 5 people. We didn’t manage to see any Proboscis monkey but we spotted many other wild life and plants. We even had a nibbling fish experience. Buffet lunch by only canteen was just edible. This Klook deal is cheaper than elsewhere, even after we include any additional tips for an additional one-way boat ride to skip return trip of a difficult trail (MYR50 for whole boat, can share) and for the guide as we liked his service. The additional boat ride brought us to coastal walks which we otherwise won’t explore via trails, so it’s worth. At low tide, take off shoes & wade to board boat.

쿠칭 시내에서 오전 7시에 출발하여 차로 3-40분 정도 가면 바코 국립공원으로 들어가는 부두가 나옵니다. 부두에서 소형 보트로 10-15분 정도 가면 바코 국립공원인데요. 공원 내에서 원숭이 돼지 독사 등 야생동물을 바로 근접해서 볼 수 있습니다. 오전 7시부터 일정이 시작된 후 오후 2시까지 진행되고 산속을 걷는 시간이 제법 길어 노약자들은 힘들 수 있으므로 전날 충분한 휴식을 취한 후 투어에 참여하시는 게 좋습니다. 투어 가이드는 매우 전문적으로 설명을 해 주시고 야생동물을 관찰하는 투어가 안전하게 진행되도록 충분한 주의사항을 알려주시므로 마음 편하게 참여하시면 됩니다. 쿠칭에 오시면 민속촌, 세멩고 등도 많이 가시지만 쿠칭의 하이라이트는 바로 여기 바코 국립공원으로 가격이 저렴한 편은 아니지만 꼭 경험할 필요가 있습니다. 마지막으로 모기 기피제는 꼭 가져오셔야 모기에 물리지 않습니다.

Hi Ooo Hai, Thank you so much—we had a great experience! First of all, thank you for being so responsive to our messages throughout the process. Our driver was very professional, and our guide, Den, was absolutely exceptional. We didn't see any monkeys early on, but Den refused to give up. He went the extra mile to spot a group in the mangroves, and eventually helped us see monkeys up close (including tiny babies!) plus a couple of snakes. The buffet lunch was also great and very fairly priced. My only feedback for future tours would be regarding group size. We had around 15 people, which was larger than expected for trekking. It would be great to state the group size upfront or offer a small-group option so guests can set expectations. Thanks again for a memorable day!

Cuaca sangat buruk, badai petir dan kilat. Kami pikir kami tidak akan bisa melihat hewan dalam perjalanan ini. Namun, pemandu wisata kami, Bapak Hamdini, sangat berpengalaman dan berpengetahuan luas tentang di mana menemukan monyet bekantan. Saat hujan, dia pergi mencari hewan, sambil menjaga kami tetap aman di tempat penampungan. Setelah dia menemukan monyet, dia datang dan membawa kami ke tempat itu. Kami berhasil melihat beberapa kelompok monyet bekantan, jantan, betina, dan monyet remaja. Kami juga melihat babi berjanggut dan lemur terbang. Acungan jempol untuk Bapak Hamdini pemandu kami.

Mr. Hamdini was our guide and he was really good. The weather was pretty bad with heavy rain and incoming thunderstorms. Do take note that when the tide is low, you would have to remove your shoes on the boat and jump into knee/calf-deep water (depending on how tall you are). Our group managed to trek along the paku trail and please take note that this EASIEST trail can be challenging for some. We managed to spot a pit viper, centipede, wild pig, silver langur and even a male proboscis monkey. If you were ever given the option to choose a lunch at the park or the jetty/village, choose the village because the food was DELICIOUS and AWESOME!

An unforgettable experience in the Bako Natural Reserve, Malaysia. Our local guide, Mr. Hamdini, a former forest ranger of the area and originally from a village within the reserve, was simply exceptional: he knew every corner of the jungle and could identify animals just by their sounds. During the tour, we spotted vipers, macaques, proboscis monkeys, flying lemurs, wild boars, and squirrels. The tour began with a boat trip to the park, and at the end, we sailed along the coast while they explained the geography and fauna of the place. We closed the day in his village, enjoying delicious local food in a typical bar. A dream day, 100% recommendable for nature lovers. However, it is very hot: go well prepared!

Farah me envió un mensaje por WhatsApp un día antes con información sobre la hora de encuentro (lobby del hotel), qué llevar y qué vestir. Al llegar a la Terminal de Bako, nos entregaron a nuestro guía, el Sr. Pujang, un guía muy bien informado y experimentado. Estaba muy concentrado en avistar monos de hoja plateada, monos narigudos y cerdos barbudos. Nos llevaron por un sendero Paku bastante desafiante, lo cual fue emocionante. Luego subimos a una lancha rápida y regresamos a la sede para almorzar en la cantina. ¡Dos pulgares arriba! 👍👍

Bako National Park is a must-visit when in Sarawak. The guides are fantastic and so knowledgeable, the location is excellent, and we got to see lots of wildlife including proboscis monkeys, silver leaf monkeys, flying lemurs, vipers, bearded pigs, and green snakes.

Yesterday's trip was truly wonderful! I met some fantastic people and was incredibly impressed by the dedication of the rangers and guides. We saw a ton of unique wildlife, and the seastack formation tour to remote parts of the island was a huge bonus, in my opinion. Overall, the smooth process and arrangements really solidified my belief that the fee paid was well worth it!

Our guide Jo exhibited exceptional knowledge and experience, almost as if he had a telepathic connection with the wildlife, effortlessly guiding us to their whereabouts. He skillfully balanced providing just the right amount of information to keep us engaged without overwhelming us, maintaining a calm and steady demeanor throughout the trip. Additionally, having Yusuf as our shadow guide made the experience even better, especially considering our large and diverse group of nine. Despite our early 5am start, our fortunes soared as we encountered bearded pigs, a green viper snake, a flying lemur, Probosics monkeys, and silver leaf monkeys, all before 11am.
