Avaliações
The guide led us well and explained things clearly, making it easy to understand the cultural heritage. Throughout the guided tour, all ten participants enjoyed a friendly atmosphere, which made the viewing experience more comfortable and enjoyable. If you're wondering whether or not to get a guide, I highly recommend experiencing the cultural heritage with Ms. Jo Sook-jin as your guide. You'll be able to hear the hidden history and unofficial stories, making the experience much more immersive. As a result, I was able to appreciate the cultural heritage much more enjoyably than if I had come alone. Thank you.
Although there were many twists and turns due to the last-minute booking the day before, the guided tour was the best! Thank you so much to Guide Jo Sook-jin for the full lecture and historical introduction! If we had just seen it ourselves, it would have been a relic we would have passed by, but listening to the explanations, we were able to reflect on history and realize that we are consistently preserving the past that we must protect. It was a precious time. I highly recommend it!!!!
The two hours flew by so quickly, there wasn't a dull moment. Thanks to the passionate explanations of commentator Jo Sook-jin, I gained a good understanding of Taiwanese and Chinese history, and it was very enjoyable.
The introduction, which began with the process of moving countless artifacts based on a deep understanding of Chinese history, was very impressive. The National Palace Museum, which is so vast that I would have just passed through it if I had gone alone, became incredibly interesting and deeply meaningful thanks to Ms. Jo Sook-jin's explanations. Starting with the fascinating meaning behind the first artifact, the cloisonné enamel, I found myself so engrossed that what I initially thought would be a long time flew by in an instant, making me wish we had more time. The detailed explanations of the emperor's attire, along with the materials she specially prepared, helped me and my child learn new things we hadn't known before, making it a truly enjoyable time for both of us. I will definitely ask for your guidance again next time I visit Taiwan. Thank you so much for the meticulous tour.
The schedule, from changes to guidance, was perfect! The museum explanations were so interesting. Curator Jo Sook-jin's guidance on famous artifacts from the Neolithic to Bronze, Iron Ages, and even China's Qing Dynasty was accurate, kind, and humorous, which made the museum visit truly enjoyable. The detailed explanations, from unofficial histories to general origins of why certain terms came to be, were excellent! If you have even a slight interest in history, meeting Curator Jo Sook-jin will be even better. If not, studying a little beforehand will definitely help with your museum visit! I really wanted to see the cabbage artifact and the Dongpo pork artifact. The explanations were kind, and I'm grateful. I hope to see you again on my next visit to Taiwan. Highly recommended!
It was great that the guide explained everything gracefully and kindly. Since this museum is so large and has so much to see, it might be a good idea to visit once with a guide and then again individually. I was sad that both Baechu and Dongpo pork were away on business trips.
Thanks to guide Jo Sook-jin, it was wonderful to hear the untold stories of the artifacts. It would have been insufficient if I had only listened to the audio, so this was truly helpful.
I really love museums. If you also enjoy museums, I highly recommend the National Palace Museum tour with guide Jo Sook-jin. 1. She is passionate. She doesn't just explain things. Before we even start, she clearly explains which era the artifacts we are about to see belong to, comparing them with Korean history. Those 5 minutes of explanation were incredibly informative. After hearing that, seeing the artifacts was definitely more enjoyable. And she is incredibly passionate. For two hours, she walked around and explained everything without a break, except for a 5-minute rest. 2. Her explanations are engaging. She asks questions related to the artifacts. Answering those questions and listening to her explanations was truly fun. She also shares interesting anecdotes related to the artifacts, making the viewing experience even more captivating. On the day I visited, the Dongpo pork was 'on a business trip' (meaning it wasn't there), so I could only see the Jadeite Cabbage. But she humorously explained how the Jadeite Cabbage turned a disadvantage into an advantage, and about the jade screen that almost disappeared, which I really enjoyed! ^^ Personally, if there had been a full-day tour, I would have signed up for it. Even so, after diligently listening to explanations for two hours, I continued to explore for about two more hours after lunch. If I visit the National Palace Museum in Taiwan again, I would love to be with guide Jo Sook-jin. Thank you so much~!
The meticulous and detailed explanations were excellent. Korean commentary is essential.
Be sure to visit the museum with a guide. I was so captivated by the excellent explanations that three hours flew by without me even noticing. It was incredibly helpful to understand and remember the rare treasures as they were explained alongside their history. Since it was a small group, we were able to move nimbly and appreciate many treasures. I am so grateful for the guide's passionate effort to show us even more. I want to come again next time, and I'd love to have Guide Jo Sook-jin with us again. Thank you so much.
