Din Tai Fung - Xiaolongbao

We made a reservation and entered, waiting for 30 minutes before being seated. Even though it was a weekday, there were many tour groups, making it crowded and noisy. Perhaps because my expectations were high, I didn't find it overwhelmingly delicious, but despite the crowd, there were many staff members who quickly brought us what we needed, so the warm service was satisfactory. Taiwan seems clean and the people are quiet. We ordered two sets of Set A and two Perfect Sets, making a total of four sets, which was a lot. Each dumpling had its own distinct flavor that you could really taste with the first bite. The kids, especially the two older ones, loved the chocolate.

I went to the branch on the first floor of a department store near Taipei 101. The department store opened at 11 AM, and there was a line of people waiting outside before it opened, so my family and I joined the line and waited to go in. We only purchased two adult sets, so we showed our voucher and told them that our 7-year-old child would order extra once inside. We were then guided to our seats. The items ordered as part of the set seemed like samples, probably intended to let us taste a variety of dishes. After finishing the course, I asked for the menu, and they gave me a Korean menu, so I was able to easily place additional orders and enjoy the meal!

I pre-booked a set meal through Klook and visited the restaurant. There was an 80-minute wait, but after scanning my Klook voucher, they helped us get priority entry in about 40 minutes, cutting the wait short. We didn't have to wait long; we looked around nearby and then went straight in to eat. The cucumber salad, I think, was sold out, so they changed it to another menu item. The staff were very kind, and there was even someone who spoke Korean, so we ate comfortably without any inconvenience. I definitely recommend purchasing in advance. The portions are also generous.

The waiting time for this was only 10 minutes since we booked here in Klook. The food was served pretty quick, it was really good, everything was made fresh and the food kept coming. Make sure you line up and show the hostess your reservation, just wait for your number to be called and your table will be ready.

I was so curious about Din Tai Fung that I made a reservation and went. I only bought two sets and wanted to order more of what I wanted to eat inside, but the staff member who was taking reservations didn't seem to understand me well and kept saying I couldn't go in, which made me break out in a cold sweat. Luckily, someone next to me kindly interpreted, and I was able to enter.😅 Watching them make the food was entertaining and fun, and the dishes were all very neat and delicious! If you like eggplant, you must try it; it's so good!! The custard steamed bun in the picture is really delicious!! You must try it!!

As soon as we arrived, there were so many people, but when I showed them the Klook QR code, we got in after only a 20-minute wait. We ordered 4 A-sets for 4 adults and 1 child. The adult portions were just right, and since my child doesn't usually eat much, I just ordered the dim sum they liked separately. In conclusion, you need to order according to the number of people so you don't run short; it's just right. I understand why everyone raves about Din Tai Fung; it's so, so delicious! The Xiao Long Bao is the best! +_+

10 minutes waiting time since it's not a very busy period. The food is okay. This is my 4th time in Taiwan, but I've never been lucky enough to dine here because of the consistently long queues. Luckily, I saw it on Klook and managed to secure a booking. It made my life easy.

The wait at the Taipei 101 branch on Sunday lunch was 2.5 hours long. Thanks to this, our waiting time was trimmed to 1 hour. It is definitely worth it, especially if there are other places to go after lunch. Since this is pre-ordering, a stream of food will come without saying anything, but ordering more is allowed.

Great food, great service! When we went there, a lot of people were queuing, so we thought we would have to wait until all of them were served, but when we presented our voucher we were given a queue number with the waiting time reduced to be let in (from 40 minutes to 20). Regarding the food portions, the set meal (set C) we ordered for two people were actually good for three. We enjoyed every meal served from the seaweed salad appetizer to the chocolate xiaolongbao dessert. The spicy shrimp dumpling was probably the best among all the food served. To add to the culinary experience, the staff were all courteous and always smiling, making the atmosphere vibrant. This resto should be in your list of places visit if you are in Taipei.
