THE PERFECT TOUR IN TAIWAN! I'm a first-time solo traveler and booked this tour (Yehliu Geo Park, Shifen, and Juifen Night Tour) on a whim. I was nervous to take a tour on my own at first, but I quickly realized that this tour was the best option I could have chosen! Mr. Jeffrey Wu was a fantastic tour guide. Super sweet and great sense of humor! He kept everything organized and we did not have to worry about a thing, phew! This tour specifically was the perfect amount of sightseeing, eating, and souvenir-shopping, and also very convenient because you don't have to wake up too early, depending on how close you are to the pick-up spot. If you're wondering whether you should choose the day or night Juifen tour, choose the night tour! Yes it was crowded (as expected on a Saturday) l, but the food, shopping, and views with the red lanterns are so worth it. Highly recommend this tour, especially for solo travelers!

Excellent tour! Nelson was an outstanding guide—very informative, friendly, and always made sure everyone had a great experience. We visited many beautiful places, and although the time at each stop was limited, it was enough to see the highlights and enjoy each destination. The only downside was the weather, as it was extremely hot while walking around Yehliu Geopark. Other than that, everything was well-organized, and I highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to see the best of northern Taiwan in a day.

The tour was superbly structured and a lot of fun. We got a good impression of the sights. Although the time at the sights was limited, it was always more than sufficient. Our tour guide Richard shone with very helpful insider knowledge and his very charismatic manner.

On July 8, 2026, I had a fabulous KLOOK trip to Yehliu Geopark, Jiufen Old Town, a waterfall, and the Shifen Sky Lantern experience! Our guide (Richard) was great, sharing his knowledge of Taiwan and the areas we visited, and recommending the best shops to purchase teas, pineapple cake, pork noodle soup, and Taiwanese sausage – which was very helpful. Richard did a great job keeping us on time so everyone had a great time. The bus was clean and had air conditioning, which was helpful in the summer heat. I personally enjoyed launching the Sky Lantern – wow! What a joy! It was like that scene in Disney’s “Tangled”: seeing many lanterns in the sky. I strongly recommend this tour, and I would take it again! Thanks, Richard, for your awesome recommendations!
