Safari Senhor dos Anéis - Tour de Meio Dia em Glenorchy

I wasn't a big fan of LOTR, but I honestly learned a lot from this tour. Riding in a 4WD vehicle added to the fun as well! The tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The banana bread (and other food) provided was delicious. It was a nice touch when the driver offered us what he brought for us. 🙂

I really enjoyed the experience with tour guide Nicholas. Even if you're not familiar with the movie, you can still feel the atmosphere on site. The guide's explanations were vivid and interesting, so you wouldn't feel awkward even if you didn't understand the plot. They always thoughtfully reminded us about road conditions to ensure everyone's safety. During the trip, the guide also provided drinks and snacks to help everyone refuel. This was truly an unforgettable journey, well worth experiencing again or recommending to friends.

If you’re a fan of LOTR you need to experience this, however, I was excited to spend a little more time in Glenorchy to take a photo on the iconic red building but we just stopped there for toilet 🥹 it could have been a good itinerary if we did. It also felt like we’re in a hurry as we have to be back before 1pm

Unfortunately, due to the weather, we couldn't get a very clear view of the shooting sites. But other than that, everything was adventurously fun though! Go for it for the experience!

The scenery on the trip was beautiful, and the tour guide/driver provided detailed and clear explanations, was polite, and even made special stops for me to take photos since he knew I enjoyed it. He drove the 4x4 steadily, and there were also refreshments and hot drinks. Overall, it was a perfect experience.

I generally have a mild interest in The Lord of the Rings movies, so initially, I joined this tour simply to see the scenery. However, our guide and driver, JONO, was incredibly thoughtful. He told us that this route was specifically designed for hardcore Lord of the Rings fans, and if we weren't familiar with the series, he suggested the Arrowtown route would be more enjoyable. With the whole group's agreement, we switched to Arrowtown, and it turned out to be a lot of fun! There was an exciting river exploration, an interesting gold panning experience, and most importantly, the scenery was absolutely stunning. JONO's driving skills were excellent, and he also provided detailed explanations of the local ecology, geography, and history along the way. It was clear that he genuinely loves New Zealand. For the final segment where you dress up as Lord of the Rings characters, I recommend everyone let go of their inhibitions and just have fun; you'll get some really entertaining photos and videos.

Highly recommended tour to do in Queenstown! Our guide Nic was extremely good! You don't have to watch the LOTR movie before doing this tour! Props provided for photo taking.

Itinerary: Very fulfilling, the tour guide was excellent, and there were meals available. Scenery: Very beautiful, relaxing to sit in the car, with the tour guide providing commentary throughout the journey.
