Nevis Swing, Bungy & Catapult por AJ Hackett

OMG... 10/10 experience. I did the Nevis Swing with my partner and we went forwards – truly jaw-dropping, and the G-force is unlike anything we've ever experienced before – and we do a lot of thrilling activities. Please note that the pickup location is in the town area, and you will be transported on a 4WD bus to go up the mountain – it's about a 40-minute drive. The staff were very friendly, and I suggest you allow about 4 hours for this experience in case of strong winds or bad weather. We almost couldn't swing due to the major winds, but thankfully we waited it out! We had to reschedule our other later appointment, but all's good. Highly recommend!!!!

I had the best experience at Nevi Bungy Playground. This trip was so unforgettable! It was very easy to sign in at the reception in QBC. The ride to the site was smooth. Even though the weather was cold and wet, it eventually got better. Amazing and friendly staff as well! I felt safe doing the bungy!

We did not get the chance to play nevis swing due to technical issue, hence we change it to catapult, the world largest catapult. The staff are friendly and they always do a thorough check before you go for the play ! It is an amazing experience, will come back again !

An unforgettable experience! After checking in at the counter, your weight will be measured, and then re-confirmed multiple times upon arrival at the base. The staff are very meticulous when putting on the equipment, and different people will double-check it, ensuring a high level of safety. The tension started building from the long suspension bridge leading to the jump platform. The platform itself is entirely suspended by steel cables; if it weren't for the overwhelming excitement of the upcoming swing, just standing on this swaying platform would be thrilling enough. Once on the platform, two staff members handle the harness attachment and confirmation. Being suspended in mid-air after that is truly terrifying, but the thrill you feel afterward can only be understood by experiencing it. I highly recommend all interested travelers give it a try!

Nevis Bungy is an extreme challenge. Standing on a 134-meter-high platform, my heart raced and my legs trembled. But when I mustered the courage to leap, the moment of weightlessness brought an unprecedented thrill and sense of freedom. The wind roared in my ears, adrenaline surged, and fear transformed into excitement, as if the world stood still. As I bounced back up, I realized I had completed this extreme feat, and my heart was filled with a sense of accomplishment. This experience not only challenged me but also allowed me to deeply appreciate the exhilaration of pushing my limits. It was definitely an unforgettable moment in my life!

It was an awesome experience. Embracing the fear and living life! The crew were amazing despite the rainy weather. They kept up with our energy which was awesome.

I would give 5 stars if the lady at the Queenstown office was more helpful. I tried asking nicely where to park, they simply said if I park nearby the office I would be fined. During check in, please ask customers how did they get there and SUGGEST where to park. Not just ignore my question and continued speaking to your colleague. Nonetheless, all crews at the Nevis was brilliant, they encouraged us to take the leap especially when we’re too scared. Thank you so much Sam and Cody. You guys really made the difference. If it weren’t for that lady at the office I would have rated 5 stars.

It's an activity worth trying at least once! Only the moment of the drop is scary; after that, it feels like swinging in a scenic spot. If you want a bit more thrill, I recommend riding it upside down~!

This was my favorite activity during my entire New Zealand trip. I love extreme sports, and canyon bungee jumping was incredibly exhilarating; the moment I jumped, I felt reborn. The canyon swing was also 100% thrilling. We also tried the catapult, which looked the scariest but was actually less intense than the other two. Those who don't want too much excitement can also give it a try.

The drive takes about an hour and a half. We waited for about three hours for the weather to improve. If the weather is bad, you can get a refund or change your plan, so there's no need to worry.
