Such a fantastic experience. I was very impressed with the service from Thunder jet boat. So much enjoyable.

The ride was 1 hour long, so it's definitely a great way to see the lake/river – a much more thrilling ride compared to a cruise. It's kid-friendly, and you won't really get wet, so no worries about doing this without bringing a change of clothes. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. RealNZ never disappoints.

You will deeply regret it if you don't do this and leave. I was so relieved that I could book it just 45 minutes beforehand. This activity is definitely worth the money. If you line up 15 minutes before, you'll be seated in order. Before sitting down, you can store sunglasses or any loose items in a locker. Then you'll be seated sequentially, and if you're in the front-left seat, you'll have the best view and it's the best seat, so keep that in mind. If you wear a windbreaker with a hood, it's waterproof and can prevent your hair from flying around or getting wet. Keep your phone in a zippered pocket and absolutely do not take it out when spinning. The speed is truly incredible, and I thought I was risking my life to take photos, but suddenly when they spin, there's a risk of falling into the water, so it's problematic if you try to take pictures like I did. Haha, but I'm so happy I could get videos and photos, and the pilot's insane energy made me want to do it again... This is truly the activity of my life. Thank you so much T_T

This was my second jet boat experience, and unlike the last time in the canyon where the jet boat ride was only 20 minutes, this one lasted a full hour, making for an even better experience. Be prepared to get wet!

Great experience and can’t leave Queenstown without trying this jet boat! Tip to bring a beanie, waterproof jacket and maybe a phone case with a strap. You’ll get water in your ear so cover it if you can.

Initially booked for 1 hour, but due to the water level, they only offered a 25-minute ride. The staff were very helpful in canceling the 1-hour booking and putting us on the next earliest 25-minute ride. The ride was really fun and a great experience.

I felt that 25 minutes was just right for this activity. An hour might be too long. The experience is fun, suitable for everyone, including children and the elderly.

Incredible value for money. If you come to Queenstown, you must try the 60-minute jet boat ride to enjoy the thrill and the beautiful scenery. Highly recommended!

Loved every minute of it! it was sunny and warm that day so super refreshing to get splashed! Our driver Jess was terrific, super into it and engaging. The jetboating thrill was enhanced by spectacular 360 spins and speed bursts and the views along the river were gorgeous!
