If you enjoy food this tour is a must! I had such a great experience walking the streets of Kyoto on this tour. Firstly it was well organised, it started on time and the guide was easy to find. It was so interesting walking the streets with a genuinely knowledgeable guide, I naturally had lots of questions about the food and area and the guide seemed to know everything. She was so friendly and easy to talk to with perfect English as well. We were taken to spots I would have never found by myself and we ate some outstanding food. Japan really is foodies paradise. You never felt pressured though, it was made clear that if you didn't like anything you didn't have to eat it however I enjoyed every dish served. None of it was "too traditional" or strange, I think they've really thought a lot about where to take you and which dishes to serve. Everything was delicious and a new experience. I can't recommend it enough.
My experience on this tour was more than amazing. While we walked through Nishiki Market, our guide told us about its history and local favorite spots, not just for foreign tourists. The guide also introduced us to many typical local foods in Kyoto, especially my favorite, the Japanese croquette! This tour wasn't just about Nishiki Market. The guide took us to a very interesting shrine and explained Japanese religion to us. They also took us to a very beautiful hidden alley. I'm very glad I joined this tour because the guide showed us places we wouldn't have found on our own. I also learned a lot about Kyoto. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed the walking tour in Kyoto. Our guide was very friendly and had great knowledge of the area. He gave us a very authentic tour of the place showing us some areas tourists might not always find. He was very interested in getting to know everyone on the tour and gave us some great places to check out in Kyoto. Would definitely recommend if you’re interested in getting know the area a bit better.

Absolut fantastisk tur, det var strålende at blive vist rundt af en så venlig og kyndig person. Vi tog til så mange fantastiske steder, som jeg aldrig ville have tænkt på at besøge som turist, men som virkelig gjorde oplevelsen. Jeg vil helt klart anbefale det til alle turister, der ønsker en mere personlig og detaljeret madtur med steder, man ellers ville gå glip af.
Han was amazing, had a great time and really enjoyed the experience, all the food we had, and all the best spots.

We were the only ones on the tour, so we had a private tour. Azu is very knowledgeable about the area and its surroundings. We were able to see a side of Kyoto we wouldn't have otherwise.
Leo was a fantastic tour guide; he gave me wonderful insights throughout the journey. I would definitely recommend this tour and Leo.
