The driver arrived at the hotel on time and took us to the meeting point. Upon arrival, we were greeted with an iced welcome drink. Our group of four, along with two Korean couples, began the Ayung River rafting journey. We started with a walk, seeing farmers planting rice along the way, and then descended 500 steps down the mountain. As long as you're careful and maintain a bit of distance, it's not difficult at all, though the thought of climbing back up after the exhilarating rafting made me sweat a little. This time, under the guidance of our instructor John, the journey was very exciting and enjoyable. He knew how to create a lively atmosphere and meticulously ensured the safety of every crew member. When we reached the waterfall area, John also proactively helped us take photos. Besides enjoying the beautiful and tranquil surroundings, we also engaged in water fights with other boats, filled with laughter. The entire journey, which lasted about 2 hours, required effort to paddle forward but wasn't tiring at all. The process not only had thrilling parts but also unexpected beautiful scenery, making it feel like a paradise.Klook offers a wide selection of activities, and their arrangements for each booking are reassuring and trustworthy.
It was a wonderful time with Tika. She greeted us warmly in Korean at 8 AM in the hotel lobby, and I had a good feeling from then on. On the way to the morning rafting, she fluently explained the history, culture, and religion of Indonesia and Bali in Korean. The rafting was also very fun, and Tika took good care of us while we showered and ate afterward, which made us very comfortable. When we were chatting, she even took us to a rattan factory that we mentioned we wanted to visit, so we bought some souvenirs. During the Ubud city tour, she gave us appropriate free time, so we even visited the Starbucks at the Lotus Garden! The coffee plantation we went to was also very interesting, and Tegalalang was magnificent!! It's a shame we only have one photo with Tika. And even though it was late, she recommended a dinner restaurant and safely took us back to the hotel lobby, for which I am very grateful!! She speaks Korean really well, haha. I hope your dream of visiting Korea with your family comes true!!!
The Ayung River rafting is a must-do in Bali! Rafting through the jungle is an amazing experience. It's a difficult experience to have in Korea, but there are also downsides. The water is dirty and it takes longer than expected (2-2.5 hours directly, it can be fun at first but then get boring). Since we had a private tour, we coordinated the remaining itinerary with the driver after rafting. The reason for the 5-star rating is thanks to our Kuta driver! He spoke Korean reasonably well and always cheerfully accommodated our requests, making our day very enjoyable. I highly recommend him.
This tour was much better than expected. We began with the river rafting that was highly appreciated and safe. We did not experience the most thrilling ride because of the low tide but the surroundings and environment that you got to see was worth all of it anyways. We then succeeded on to visiting the Rice Terraces, which was beautiful but did not need that much time. However, our driver was really caring so he just waited for us to write as soon as we felt ready to continue. The next destination was the massage, and it was completely amazing! For sure the best massage we have had in all Asia (we got the package with the aroma massage at Amatara Royal Ganesha). The massage itself was worth all of the money for this tour. Our driver then asked us where we wanted to go, and made us involved in the tour which we really appreciated! So our last stop before going back to the hotel was a waterfall. All in all, a really good day and a really good mixture of activities. We would recommend everyone do to this tour!
Highly recommended! The rafting was so much fun, and my 11-year-old child enjoyed it safely. The stairs were manageable. It was also great to have a Kuta guide who spoke Korean; he was very kind to my child. He waited patiently for us and guided us well. He changed the itinerary according to our wishes, answered all of my husband's questions, and taught us a lot about Balinese culture, which was wonderful! If you're considering it, don't hesitate; I think you'll love it! Highly recommended!
Amazing experience, great fun. I had chosen the Ayung river rafting with Thai massage. I was staying in Ubud and Thai massage was available only in Kuta 2 hrs one way from Ubud, so had to skip that which was a bit disappointing. Had to pay additional IDR 75K pp for Balinese massage in Ubud.
Rafting is an absolute must-do, it's so much fun! The other tours are also enjoyable. The guide who spoke Korean was really great.
Our driver was Alita, and she spoke Korean well, gave us a lot of information, and was very kind. She also picked us up early, and the rafting was really fun. I think I would have really regretted it if I hadn't gone rafting. To top it off, we even had a massage, so it felt like a perfect day. The massage shop was also friendly and clean, and the massage skill with just the right pressure was very refreshing. Lastly, thank you so much, Alita!
One of the memorable experiences for sure! Walking down and up to the Rafting point was a bit intense, but 2 hours of rafting journey are totally worth trying! The coffee farm and rice terrace were great sightseeing points as well!
It's a hot and humid country, so I applied for a private tour (rafting + Ubud tour) to use it comfortably. I'm not very good at English, so I chose a driver who could speak Korean, and it was a great choice. The driver, Suwanta, was kind throughout the tour, and he drove very smoothly in Ubud, where the traffic is complicated, so I didn't feel any discomfort at all. I was worried that rafting in the rainy season might be dangerous, but fortunately, there were no problems, and it was so much fun. However, the path to get there was rough, haha. The shower room is like a public bath, and lunch was a delicious buffet! We took many photos at the coffee plantation, and the tea was delicious. But those who go wearing flip-flops, be careful. My companion's foot grazed a stone and bled. The rice terraces were amazing and beautiful, but I was so tired from rafting that I only briefly saw them from above and immediately went to Ubud Market. The driver dropped us off in front of Ubud Palace, and after about an hour and a half of free time, we met the driver again and comfortably returned to the hotel. It was a perfect tour for us, who are sensitive to the heat!
