The pickup was excellent, with our driver and guide arriving early. The spacious, clean, air-conditioned van even had cold bottled water (2 yuan), which was appreciated in the Beijing heat. At the Temple of Heaven, our guide explained the history while we explored the grounds and peaceful forest. We also did the optional tea tasting, which was informative and highly recommended. For lunch, our guide took us to a delicious, inexpensive local restaurant. The Summer Palace was stunning, and I recommend paying extra for the boat ride across the lake to save a long walk while enjoying great views. Our guide shared detailed history throughout, and the hilltop Buddhist temple offered incredible views. A hidden path behind the temple was quiet, scenic, and one of the highlights. The tour ended with a comfortable hotel drop-off. Our guide, Well Jing, was friendly, knowledgeable, spoke excellent English, and made this well-organised tour highly enjoyable.

The tour guide assigned to us was very friendly and knowledgeable about the historical areas. As we are a small group, I felt that this tour was more laid back and chill, which I prefer. Considering this was a whole day tour, I would say this is excellent value for money.

Roger was incredibly friendly. Our tour began at the Temple of Heaven and we then enjoyed lunch at a restaurant serving the most amazing biang biang noodles I’ve ever tasted. Next, we visited the Summer Palace, which was beautiful. Finally, we were taken to the Beijing Olympic Park. Roger was patient and took the time to explain every detail.

Lu was a wonderful guide, taking the time to introduce us to historical facts, answer questions in detail and care for our group. Thank you so much for giving such an in-depth tour! As an English speaker, it was really important to get translations and explanations of the historical sites and the culture that shaped their story. Lu was able to easily assist our group with this every step of the way. I learned a lot and had a fantastic experience!

This tour was very informational and educational, all thanks to Lulu. Arranged all our tickets and explained each temple and places very well, especially the history related to them. Just be prepared for lots of walking, but this has been enjoyable.

The tour was very well organised, with a comfortable pace that allowed us to enjoy the attractions without feeling rushed. We were given ample time to explore each attraction throughout the day. Our tour guide, Lu, was conversant in English and provided informative explanations, sharing many interesting insights about the attractions, as well as the history and culture of China. She was also very conscientious & attentive to our welfare. Despite the heat & sun, she made sure that everyone was adequately shaded & comfortable whenever possible. Lu was also very helpful & readily offered to take photographs for us, which was a thoughtful touch. Her attentiveness & knowledge made the experience much more enjoyable. Overall, it was a very well-paced & informative tour with a wonderful guide. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would like to thank Lu for making the day so pleasant and memorable. With Tour guide Lu’s dedication we will definitely consider Busda tours when in Beijing.

super time with our tour guide Christina who kept us informed and gave us a lot of time to look around. she shared insightful information and was a pleasure to chat with. the day was long, the weather was hot and I did not feel rushed. the Temple of heaven and the Summer palace are huge but we managed to see so much. the boat ride at the summer palace was delightful and incredibly scenic.

We had an interesting day jam-packed with fun information about the summer palace and the temple of heaven! Christina was such a wonderful tour guide who would go out of her way to share facts every step of the way. Strongly recommended!
