Wonderful experience! I warmly recommend this tour. Jessie was amazing! A wealth of knowledge, interesting, funny, and witty. She shared lots of fascinating tidbits and fun facts, not only about the Summer Palace but also about Chinese culture as a whole. She was very calm and never in a hurry, allowing us to enjoy the tour to the fullest. Her English was perfect, and she was very enjoyable company. If you’re planning a tour here, ask for her, believe me (I tried more guided tours here in China), it’s totally worth it!!

The original guide couldn't take me so the tour operator arranged for a new guide, James. While the change in schedule was a little stressful, James was an amazing guide! His English was really fluent, he was knowledgable and provided answers to my questions. He was detailed and made the tour really fun! He also knows all the great spots for picture worthy moments and told many jokes! Highly recommended tour! Learnt a lot about the place and history, including the colour tags on the trees. :)

Jenny led a fantastic private family group tour, providing a wealth of information. We also enjoyed the boat trip at the end. There were plenty of toilet breaks for the elders in our group.
