Our guide, Xiaoyu, explained everything in great detail. Before each attraction, she provided thorough explanations and recommended shops, making us feel at ease that we wouldn't miss anything. She even gave us a Nagoya food guide at the end. The included lunch was a great choice; the wagyu hot pot was delicious, and we could refill our rice and soup. We realized upon arriving at the attractions that it's not always easy to find a restaurant, so including lunch was definitely the right decision.

The day trip is very convenient, and you can bring a stroller. The itinerary is a bit rushed, so it's recommended to choose a tour that includes lunch, which will give you more time to explore.

The day trip with lunch included is very convenient! Many day tours require you to arrange your own lunch, but often you have to wait a long time to buy food, or your sightseeing time is cut short by having to find lunch. This tour includes lunch, allowing us to leisurely enjoy the local Hida cuisine without our sightseeing time being compressed. Highly recommended for those who don't want their time to be squeezed by looking for lunch!

this is mostly a self guided tour. your guide on the bus will give you a little information before arriving at an area but then you're on your own. would have been nice to have a little more information on Shirakawa-go regarding how the houses are built or the lifestyle of the person's living there.

Thank you tour guide Helen Wang for making our trip possible. We arrived at the meeting at 7:30 AM. Attendance was taken at 7:50 AM, but our names were not found on any of the three buses. We saw the effort Helen put in to allow us to join her tour. She is bilingual in Mandarin and English. Due to the long-distance driving, the land tour itself can be quite rushed, but it was still nice for a sneak preview of Takayama and Shirakawago. Once again, thank you, Helen, for "adopting" us. We had a wonderful experience on the Nagoya–Shirakawa-go & Hida Takayama full-day guided tour. Everything was well organized, the guide was friendly and informative, and the pace was just right. Shirakawa-go was absolutely stunning, and strolling around Hida Takayama was a highlight. A memorable and stress-free day.

Tour guide Xiao Liu was very diligent, explaining in three languages: Chinese, English, and Japanese. We departed at 8 AM and returned to the Nagoya Station meeting point at 6 PM, perfectly on time! There were rest stops in between, and I personally felt the itinerary was very smooth and not rushed.

Although time was tight and we could only hit the main spots, the transportation was convenient.
