Jantar Místico em Ubud no Oracle of Spice Lemuria, a Cidade Perdida

The Lost City, located within the Avalon Resort, is a bit secluded, but it truly lives up to its name! It really is a lost city! The card drawing linked to spices was truly mystical; the card I drew perfectly reflected my current situation, and I absolutely loved the corresponding spice 🥰 It made the stir-fry incredibly delicious 🥰🥰 It was a pleasant surprise! And because I arrived very early, they treated me to many complimentary snacks 🥹🥹 They were delicious 😋 There's also a fire dance performance at night! (Remember to check the dates when you go, as there are different sizes of performances; the larger ones feature two dances and are more lively with more people.) This time, I even met one of their enthusiastic staff members who gave me a tour of the Avalon Resort 🥰 I'm truly grateful for the tour! I might even stay there next time!

It was a very cool experience, the staff were just super, so friendly and responsive! They brought us cards indicating spices, then we chose our food and they prepared it with the spices from the card. It was very delicious. We also really enjoyed the fire show. It was tasty and fun, 100% recommend!

The ambiance was very beautiful, however the food wasn’t the greatest. The fire dance at the end was a good finale. Try to arrive early for picture taking before everything turns dark and bring mosquitoes repellent as this venue is held outdoor.

I booked the dinner package, which didn’t include theater seating to interact with the performance. However, I was still able to enjoy dinner while watching the show at the dining area. The buffet included chicken and pork satay, salad, bread, and curry that you can help yourself to. The staff will also prepare the dishes you select and season them according to the spice on your card. I was lucky that the weather was nice, so the overall experience was very good. Make sure choose the date with the performance, you will have better experience.

The mystical vibes were fabulous, and the staff were incredibly friendly and kind. Be aware that there are 103 steep steps to walk down and back up again. I'm not very fit, but I took my time and managed them. Just be mindful that they are steep, and it's a workout going back up at the end. It's worth it for the activity, though.

Aunque este lugar está un poco alejado del centro de la ciudad, el viaje valió la pena. Las estructuras y los alrededores están bellamente diseñados, creando una atmósfera única y acogedora. Me sorprendió gratamente la experiencia de la cena privada, y la profesionalidad del personal lo hizo aún más especial. Una mención especial al camarero, Agus, quien fue increíblemente servicial y acogedor. El bar abre a las 5 p.m. y la cena comienza a las 7 p.m., el momento perfecto para acomodarse antes de la comida. La comida era sencilla, deliciosa y justo a mi gusto. En general, me encantó el ambiente y toda la experiencia incluso más que la comida en sí. Recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar a cualquiera que busque una experiencia gastronómica que se sienta única y memorable.

Traveled 1hr to see this lost city, honesty speaking, the vibes was not there as there wasn't any customers. it was just the 2 of us, choosing the spice through the cards was fun for a second but it lasted for a minute and that was pretty much it. Food was served pretty quickly, spices were good but it was pretty much just stirred fry vegetables. However, i do appreciate the staff, bartender, dancers for making the effort to keep us entertained, juggling cups, fire shows and it was pretty fun. The cocktails were alright but pretty pricey, 175k per glass. We only stayed for an hour as it was really really hot and humid. Overall was an okay experience!
