I thought my two boys would love it, so I signed up for the Blue Cave snorkeling activity, and sure enough, they said it was the most fun they had on this Okinawa trip! Everyone was nervous because it was their first time snorkeling, but the Korean instructor stayed with us from beginning to end, so we felt safe participating. The waves were choppy, and I was a little worried about getting seasick on the boat ride there and back, but the moment we saw the Blue Cave, we were constantly amazed by the mysterious fish and scenery in the blue sea. The Blue Cave is truly the best! It was an unforgettable experience! 👍👍👍

The snorkeling and diving were what I was most looking forward to on my Okinawa trip. Although we couldn't go to the Blue Cave due to strong winds, it was wonderful to see many fish from the beach and even feed them directly! The short-haired Japanese female instructor who led our team was incredibly kind and created such a comfortable atmosphere for snorkeling that if I come again, I definitely want to do it with her! There were many more fish than I expected, and the Japanese instructor also spoke both English and Korean, enthusiastically introducing photo spots and Japanese wedding locations, and taking many pictures for us. It will be a memorable experience that I'll cherish for a long time.🥰

The weather was a bit cold (January 4th), and it was a little disappointing that we couldn't go to the Blue Cave. However, there were many fish, and even just looking down from the water's surface, we could see all the way to the bottom. This made our companion, who is afraid of deep water (+dark places), feel comfortable and satisfied without having to push themselves. From the meeting point to putting on the equipment, all the Korean staff guided us, and they even stored our belongings (car keys, smartphones, etc.) for us. After we changed into all the gear, a handsome Japanese staff member who could speak Korean took us to the sea to show us around and then brought us back to the meeting point. I highly recommend this experience unless you're going to another island. (I'm not writing this review because of his looks; I am a man.)

It was an amazing activity that made my Okinawa trip memorable!!! We went on a rainy day, but luckily the rain stopped during our snorkel. The water was so clear and fish swam around us. The coach was very patient and took good care of us, as well as taking beautiful pictures/videos for us. The only unfortunate thing that happened was that my dad couldn’t go in the end because he was over-aged (above 58) - I overlooked the terms and conditions before I booked. Overall, this event is highly value for money and I would definitely recommend it to anyone going to Okinawa!!

It's easily accessible from Naha and very convenient. Since it's located with a shopping mall, you can also park, dine, and shop. While there aren't many fish, there are other animals like birds and reptiles, and the lighting facilities are excellent, making it great for families.

I went with my mother. We were lucky that we were the only ones during our time slot, so the instructor gave us their full attention. I was honestly very worried because my mother is afraid of water, but the instructor kindly and patiently taught her from beginning to end, staying by her side, continuously reassuring her, and guiding her to beautiful spots. As a result, my mother, who is afraid of water, breathed underwater for the first time. The instructor also continuously took photos and videos from various angles with a GoPro. It was truly wonderful. The waves were too rough to go to the cave, so we went to a nearby beach spot instead, which I think was a better choice for my beginner mother. Anyway, we had a lot of fun, and my mother kept saying, "This will be a truly memorable experience," and she keeps rewatching the videos the instructor took for us, haha... I was very grateful, and if I get the chance, I'd like to try diving here later. Thank you so much!

Other places used English, Japanese, and Chinese, making it hard to understand... the other teams right next to us struggled. But!!!!! This place is the best. Safety is the top priority, and if you can't understand? That's a death sentence... They told us that even though the weather was bad, the visibility was good. I have a severe fear of water... it was my first time snorkeling... when I first got in the water, I completely panicked and flailed around, but they quickly helped me calm down. Would I snorkel or dive again? Definitely here... This was from a dad with a 10-year-old kid who joined in, haha.

experience: snorkeling was extremely safe. we had life jackets and there were many people around, which can be annoying but honestly made me feel more secure. the instructor is checking on you constantly so there’s no need to worry, just enjoy. the instructors here are extremely kind and patient and speak English and Korean!

I visited on February 12, 2026. The weather was warm, around 19 degrees Celsius, and the water temperature was perfect for playing. Unfortunately, due to the coastal conditions that day, we couldn't enter the Blue Cave, but our guide showed us other hidden caves, allowing us to enjoy a very fun and beautiful scenery. I was a bit worried because I can't swim at all, but the guide kindly took care of everything from putting on the equipment, so I had a great time. The underwater scenery was also incredibly beautiful, like being in another world. It will truly be an unforgettable memory from Okinawa. It was so good that I want to bring my parents next time. Although the location is a bit far from Kokusai Street, there's a direct bus, so getting there wasn't too difficult! There were also elementary school children in our group, and it was wonderful to see how meticulously the guide paid attention to them.

I was extremely satisfied! I was worried that since others came in groups of two or more and I was alone, I might feel isolated or not be looked after. However, the instructor and the people in my group took such good care of me and even took great photos, for which I am very grateful! It was my first time in the sea, and when entering the cave, it was so dark that I hyperventilated a little, but it was such a wonderful experience that I overcame it! I didn't see any reviews from solo travelers, so if you're going alone, definitely read this and participate! I can't remember the name of the instructor who looked after me, but they had a calm, soft voice! Next time, I'll come with my family and we'll all experience it together! The instructors are all so kind, friendly, and wonderful people, so I highly, highly recommend you try it!!!
