Experiência de mergulho e snorkeling na Caverna Azul da Vila de Onna, em Okinawa

After parking your car at Cape Maeda parking lot, you can leave everything in the car. There's no need to bring your phone or anything else; you can just go to the designated spot to find your instructor. You can safely entrust your car keys to the instructors and then head straight into the water. After the activity, you can return to your car to get your clothes and toiletries, then go to the public shower rooms next to the parking lot to wash up. It costs 200 yen for about 3 minutes of showering and 100 yen for 4 minutes and 30 seconds of hair drying. The activity itself was also fantastic, and the diving instructors were very patient in helping us. They were very friendly to us as beginners in the ocean, guiding us step by step, which made us feel very secure. They also took many beautiful videos for us. If you need more photos and videos, you only need to pay an additional 1000 yen, which is truly cheap and a great value.

“As it was my first time diving, I was actually quite worried and nervous before getting into the water. However, thanks to John, who meticulously checked my condition from beginning to end and calmly guided me, my fear disappeared, and I was able to fully enjoy the ocean. There were no issues communicating in English, and with Korean instructions available, there was absolutely no difficulty in experiencing it! And, choose the video! You won't regret it. It's recommended to add them on Line beforehand. Then, use the Google Map on your booking confirmation to drive to the destination parking lot. You'll find their company's small van at the exit. The instructor is very hospitable and speaks English. The underwater scenery is beautiful with many fish, but it might be a bit crowded on a Saturday.

This blue cave snorkelling experience was absolutely awesome! The highlight was definitely our guide, Yoshi—he was incredibly friendly, patient, and made the whole trip even more enjoyable with his positive energy. The snorkelling itself was fantastic, and the blue cave was truly beautiful. Everything was well-organized, and we felt well taken care of throughout. The only area for improvement would be the meeting point. It would really help to have a more prominent or clearer sign, as we had some difficulty locating the van. The vehicle we were looking for also didn’t match the photo provided, which caused a bit of confusion. Overall, a very enjoyable and memorable experience that I would definitely recommend!

The local guides (oppas) marked us one-on-one and led us well, so I successfully completed a bucket list item! Thank you so much. The sea was so clean and the variety of fish was amazing. As soon as you dip your feet in and put your head under, there are hundreds of fish! They also took great photos and videos, and above all, the sea is so beautiful. Definitely try scuba diving; they will guide even beginners well.

EXCELENTE EXPERIENCIA. Como estaba lloviendo y las olas eran grandes el día de nuestro tour, la cueva azul estaba cerrada. Pero no se preocupen, ya que el instructor nos llevó a otra playa cercana y el agua era poco profunda y ¡MUY CLARA! ¡También había MUCHOS PECES! El instructor nos dio algo de comida para peces para atraerlos. El instructor fue paciente y bueno explicando las instrucciones también. Nos tomó fotos gratis con su GoPro y pagamos 1000 yenes adicionales para que nos grabara videos con la GoPro. ¡La calidad de las fotos y los videos es muy buena! Hay muchos lugares de estacionamiento disponibles para quienes conducen, y el estacionamiento es barato. También hay baños y duchas. Hay que pagar alrededor de 200 yenes por el agua caliente para ducharse. ¡ALTAMENTE RECOMENDADO!

After booking, I found some bad reviews... Oh, did I make a mistake with such a cheap price? That thought was wrong. My wife and child, who were initially scared, thoroughly enjoyed snorkeling. Actually, it's not a sport that requires much explanation, so the language barrier wasn't a big issue, and they spoke English well. There was no request for additional photo fees either. We had a great time for a low price. Afterwards, my wife even said she might do it again.

The wetsuit I was given was quite torn, but it's okay, many others use it too. We did the 2-in-1 tour, and the Blue Cave was a 'touch and go' experience. There wasn't much to do in there. Out in the open, it was very beautiful. So many fish were swarming around us, and there were colorful corals on the ocean floor. We did the diving session, which gave us a crash course on using the equipment. We were guided all the way down to the ocean floor. It was an amazing experience, and I would definitely come back again.

Experience: Although there were many people inside and outside the Blue Cave that day due to good weather and sea conditions, the water was incredibly clear, and we saw so many tropical fish. It was definitely worth it, a must-do experience! Coach: When we went that day, there were Peruvian, Japanese, and Taiwanese coaches. The Taiwanese coach happened to be leading another group, so we were led by the Peruvian coach, Dio. The coach primarily communicated in English, and would repeat key points using simple Chinese words. The coach was very friendly. On site, the coach asked if we wanted to add 3000 JPY to purchase photography and photo services. The quality and quantity would be better than what was included in the Klook package, so it's up to individual needs to add on. There was another team of Hong Kongers in the same session who brought their own GoPro, so they didn't add on the service, but the coach was still very dedicated in leading and taking photos.
