I really enjoyed the entire tour experience, as our guide Allen was super cheerful despite us having to go through the tour on one of the hotter days in Beijing. I also got some really nice pictures and recommendations in the Forbidden City. On a side note, please come well prepared with good walking shoes, sunscreen, and a cap/umbrella if you're intending to do this tour during the summer months, as you'll spend at least 30 minutes going through the security check under the sun.

We had an amazing tour offered by the amazing Mike who provided us with a lot of information and fun facts about the sites we visited. The Forbidden City is extraordinary and there are so many nice spots to relax and take pictures. It gets pretty hot in the summer so bring a water flask and something to provide shade/protect you from the sun. Entry is way easier with a tour as you do not have to figure anything out for yourself and your tour guide will be more than happy to help you with information and directions even after the tour. Great way to start off a holiday in Beijing.

MOKO is the guy!!! We had an amazing experience with him as our tour guide at Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City! We had an excellent experience yesterday visiting the Forbidden City and Jingshan Park with our guide, Jay. From start to finish, the tour was well-managed and highly informative. Jay’s professionalism was evident before the tour even began; he reached out a day in advance with a detailed message and clear instructions, making the meeting process seamless. At the start of the day, one of our group members encountered a small logistical hiccup, which Jay handled quickly and calmly, ensuring we could proceed without delay. Throughout the tour, Jay demonstrated deep knowledge of the Forbidden City’s history, guiding us through the main areas and answering all our questions with ease. The pacing was perfect, with thoughtful breaks for coffee and rest, making the extensive walking very manageable. Jay is friendly, easygoing, and even provided a fantastic recommendation for a renowned Peking Duck restaurant. I highly recommend booking with him for a memorable and stress-free visit!

Vivian was a fantastic guide and was highly knowledgeable about the history of Tian’anmen Square and the Forbidden City. She texted us the night before for a confirmation of the tour, with detailed explanation of the meeting point and what to expect. Thankfully the queue into Tian’anmen Square as well as Forbidden City was not too long during our tour timing (~1hr) and we managed to cover a lot of ground! Do expect to walk a lot during the tour and wear comfortable walking shoes + sunglasses. Thank you Vivian for helping us to take many lovely photographs as well!

I had Peter as my tour guide to take me around the Forbidden City. The entire tour was very well-paced, with a small group size and professional guidance from Peter, offering a good balance of walking and learning about the history of the Forbidden City. He was very engaging and knowledgeable. The best highlight was the beautiful scenery at Jingshan Park after the walk up. Thank you, Peter, I look forward to booking him again for my future trip.

Mike is a good tour guide. Mike was very knowledgeable and friendly. The explanations about the history and culture were clear and engaging, which made the whole tour much more enjoyable. He was also very helpful and attentive to everyone in the group. I had a great experience.

Mina is my tour guide today, and I'm glad she's our guide because she's very knowledgeable and patient. Her communication skills are also excellent. She explained everything in great detail and with clear information. The tour was very enjoyable, and I will definitely do it again! She also gave us a small gift, which we greatly appreciate!

Our guide, Mr. Miko, speaks fluent English, so we can easily understand the historical context. He shared unique information about several areas that are often overlooked by casual visitors to the Forbidden City. There were sufficient breaks, and we walked almost 12,000 steps during the tour. It's best to prepare yourself accordingly.

We had a fantastic tour with Jimmy, it was super interesting to hear about the history of the forbidden city and the emperors / dynasties of China. The highlight for me was the end of the tour when we climbed up the hill in Jingshan Park to see the view from there. It was super crowded because Beijing had just experienced snowfall so all of the locals were also there for the view, but it was worth it! Thanks again for an awesome tour Jimmy!
