A very satisfying experience! We took the 12:00 PM ferry and arrived at Waiheke Island Matiatia Pier by 12:45 PM. As soon as we disembarked, a driver-guide was there to greet us with a sign. While driving us to the EcoZip Headquarter, the driver also introduced us to the island's scenery and facilities! Upon arrival, the guide first had us put our backpacks in lockers, then helped us put on safety gear, and we began the thrilling experience of three ziplines! After completing the zipline experience, the guide led us from the distinctive jungle at the bottom of the hill back to HQ, and then took us back to the pier. It's a highly recommended experience!

The ferry takes one hour to reach Waiheke Island from Auckland. I took the 9 am ferry and arrived before 10 am. The ferry ticket is not included in this package; you need to purchase it online through Fullers or at the Auckland Ferry Terminal. The Klook package is always worth purchasing compared to local packages. The three ziplines were exciting and good to try, and they felt safe with clear guidance from the two instructors.

A very interesting and fun experience! Both Waiheke Island and the beauty of New Zealand's native plants were impressive, and the coaches were all friendly and lovely! However, I want to remind everyone reading this review that if you want a pick-up service, you need to carefully check your email and arrive at the agreed location in advance 🥲 because it was only written in the email, and I completely misunderstood the time by only checking the app. Fortunately, the other party contacted me by phone, but it cost me an extra 70 New Zealand dollars for a taxi. Also, ferry tickets can actually be bought directly by walking in at the Auckland city center wharf, or you can just use an AT HOP card. There's a ferry every hour, which is actually very convenient.

I really enjoyed ziplining on Waiheke Island and would definitely do it again when I’m in Auckland. All staff members were very friendly. Two amazing guides, Lucy and Sophie, were there to ensure safety and entertain me during the experience so I felt safe and relaxed. PS It was supposed to be a small group thing but I ended up having a private tour because some people didn’t show up.

The tour was incredibly worthwhile for me because I ended up being the only participant. I didn't have to wait for anyone else on the zipline, so it was wonderful having the tour guide all to myself. The ziplining was extremely fun, and the nature hike was really interesting. It's a beautiful part of Waiheke that everyone should definitely experience!

Eran tan buenas que parecía que llevaban años trabajando juntas. La vista era genial y nos gustó la forma en que Lucy describió la tercera tirolesa como “el peeeerrooo graaaande”. La cámara de acción que tenía en la mano se me cayó en la tercera tirolesa y honestamente pensé que la había perdido para siempre. ¿Y adivinen qué? ¡Ella, con su vista de águila, la vio caer de mí y bajó la colina para ayudar a encontrarla y recuperarla! Siendo de color negro, es razonable suponer que es difícil de encontrar en el bosque, pero Ella de alguna manera logró verla. Mi esposa y yo estamos encantados, ya que contenía muchas grabaciones de nuestro viaje por Nueva Zelanda. ¡Fuimos increíblemente afortunados y muchísimas gracias a Ella!
