Weta Workshop Unleashed in Auckland was a very interactive and immersive experience from start to finish. The exhibits pulled us into the world of movie magic in such a creative way. Our guide was great and amusing, adding fun energy to the tour. I only wished there was more time to fully soak in every detail. Nonetheless, it was a fantastic experience that I’d definitely recommend.

Un taller-recorrido perspicaz y educativo. Dirigidos por el animado "Oficial de Inducción" Mac, fuimos llevados a través de diferentes etapas del detrás de cámaras de la producción cinematográfica. Se nos permitió tocar/operar y sentir algunas herramientas y los intrincados accesorios también. También había algunas estaciones interactivas que eran fascinantes. Una sesión bien organizada y completamente agradable.

We had an excellent experience during our visit to the workshop! The artist did an incredible job with the artworks. All the props and staff are truly spectacular! Kudos to our tour guide, Jack! He explained all the artworks and other things very well.

Excellent experience - Our guide, Kat, was very friendly and knowledgeable, taking us through the work that Weta Studios has done to help produce spectacular films like the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies. Hyped to visit the Weta Cave in Wellington one day!

¡Lo pasé genial en Wet a Workshop! Tuvimos la suerte de ser parte de un grupo pequeño, lo que significó que pudimos sumergirnos de verdad en todas las actividades interactivas. Fue una experiencia súper práctica, y el personal la hizo divertida y atractiva en todo momento. Recomiendo encarecidamente visitarlo si buscas algo creativo y memorable para hacer.

Amazing, amazing, amazing!! That’s the way to describe this experience. I highly recommend Weta Workshop to everyone visiting Auckland. I went there with my husband and two young kids, and we loved it! My youngest four-year-old was a bit afraid of the dark sessions, but apart from that, it was fabulous. It’s a great way to learn what’s going on behind the scenes in the movies and you can actually touch and feel everything. The guide was so great and funny, and considerate about all participants. This was a good way to show our kids that what they see on TV isn’t true. A valuable lesson. 😉 I would love to go again when visiting Auckland. It was one of our best experiences in New Zealand. Just book it - you won’t regret it!!

Wētā Unleashed was hands down the best interactive tour I've had. Not only did we get to marvel at the work of their artists, but we got to give it a go ourselves! For any creative, or just anyone curious about movie magic, I'd 100% recommend this tour!

I really loved this experience! The guide was awesome and the exhibits were all very interactive. I have also been to Wellington's, but I think both are very different! I love the sets in Auckland's! Highly recommended to go if you have time in Auckland!

very interactive experience with lots of opportunities to be hands-on with the various exhibits. great experience for kids & adults alike. especially if you're interested in what goes on behind the scenes of your fav movies.
