Tour por Auschwitz-Birkenau

This is my first time visiting here. I was a bit confused because I didn't know my way around. An English guide explained everything to me very politely.

The tour was so great! We had a super knowledgeable guide who made the tour enjoyable. The transfers were super easy to organise and was really convenient for us also :) Would definitely recommend!

1. The tour guide's English was very difficult to understand; all the group members frowned. The guide's accent was so heavy that we had to concentrate very, very hard to comprehend. 2. There was a lot of walking, and the guide only explained a sentence or two after we had walked most of the way. Most of the time, we were just left to walk around and look on our own. 3. Moreover, the tour guide was late! The meeting time was 7:20 AM, but we didn't see the guide until 7:40 AM, and we couldn't enter until 7:50 AM. Overall experience 4/10. Once is enough.

I had plans in the afternoon, so I stayed overnight and booked the 8 AM tour. However, when I arrived at the meeting point on the day of the tour, no one was there. After a while, I received an email stating that the tour had been changed to 2 PM. It seems I didn't receive the email sent the night before, but as this can happen, I believe the time change should have been communicated much earlier. Although I later received a refund from Klook, I deeply regret not being able to go. I strongly recommend scheduling your day to be able to stay in Oświęcim all day, just in case.

This tour charged us $175 for 4 people, and our tour was supposed to start at 9 am. Instead of 9 am, they scheduled us for a 4:30 pm slot, which conflicted with another activity we had booked in Krakow. In the end, we had to pay for another 4 tickets ourselves to get in.

Nie rezerwuj tej wycieczki. Zarezerwowaliśmy ją miesiąc wcześniej na godzinę 10:00. Dzień przed wycieczką firma (Legendary Krakow), która ją organizuje, poinformowała nas, że nasza godzina zostanie przesunięta na wcześniejszą, czyli 7:30. Oczywiście nie zdążyliśmy, ponieważ przyjechaliśmy z Berlina, a nasz transfer autobusowy z Berlina do Krakowa był również zarezerwowany z wyprzedzeniem, więc nie mogliśmy go już zmienić. Próbowaliśmy jeszcze rozmawiać z firmą turystyczną, aby może pozwoliła nam na inny termin, ale spotkaliśmy się tylko z niegrzecznością i informacją, że najwyraźniej mają tylko jeden termin wycieczki na ten dzień, czyli 7:30. Ale jak to możliwe, że rezerwując tę wycieczkę, mieliśmy do wyboru różne opcje czasowe, od 7:00 do 15:00? Mój przyjaciel i ja dotarliśmy do muzeum około 9:00 i ostatecznie kupiliśmy kolejny bilet bezpośrednio w Muzeum Auschwitz. Co bardziej frustrujące, Klook zwraca tylko 50% tego, co zapłaciliśmy (początkowo oferowali tylko 30%) w postaci kredytów Klook. Co za wstyd. Jestem użytkownikiem Klook od 2018 roku i to pierwszy raz, kiedy coś takiego mnie spotkało.

Strongly advise against buying!!! Although there were many people queuing to buy tickets on site, the speed was very fast, and the entry time could be accurately controlled. Because the car's navigation system broke down when driving there, and the ticket collection location was very unclear, by the time we found the ticket collection location, it was already past the time and we couldn't collect the tickets. In the end, we had no choice but to buy tickets on site again 😥

No one showed up by the promised 10 AM. There was no contact number, so I ended up buying tickets on site and completing the tour. I thought only customers could be no-shows, but I never imagined the company itself would be one.

The specified location was vague, and my email inquiry received no response. On the day of the event, I couldn't find anyone to hand over the admission ticket, so I couldn't enter. This was the worst service.
