As expected from Hotel Nikko, both the rooms and service were excellent. I particularly appreciated the variety of Japanese breakfast options. Even when staying at Japanese-affiliated hotels overseas, the breakfast can sometimes be disappointing, but here, despite the small venue, the selection was satisfying. The fact that guests can use the large public bath at the adjacent Roygent Parks also significantly enhanced my satisfaction. Although it takes about 20 minutes by car from Hai Phong Station, Grab taxis are readily available, and there are small supermarkets and cafes around the hotel, which was very convenient.

We really enjoyed our tour with SST travel. Elise was very helpful and professional, and an excellent communicator. We loved our day in Ninh Binh, bike riding and the amazing boat ride were the highlights. Our tour guide Lee was informative and entertaining. The cruise on Ha Long bay with Sea Star Cruises was incredible- we loved the kayaking activity and everyone on board were attentive and helpful.

This was my second visit to Ha Long Bay, and this time I chose a two-day, one-night itinerary. Watching the sunset from the boat and then the sunrise the next morning was beautiful. The meals on the boat were excellent; I'm worried I gained weight! The afternoon itinerary included a trip to Yen Tu Mountain, and I must say this was a very challenging journey, full of stairs that will definitely make your legs ache. However, the effort was worth it; the view from the mountaintop was stunning, and the weather was perfect, giving me a chance to take photos with a blue sky and white clouds. I think this trip was excellent.

Kajakkpadlingen var utmerket, sjømatlunsjen var fersk og deilig, kveldsteen var fint tilberedt, og alt var rent og godt organisert. We had a fantastic experience with Taliya Day Cruise! We arrived early at Terminal 36B, and the staff kindly guided us to the air-conditioned waiting room at 36A, which was equipped with four restrooms. The cruise departed right on time, and the boat itself felt very new and well-maintained. Although some previous reviews mentioned that plastic water bottles were prohibited, there was actually no such restriction in place. The itinerary was well-paced and comfortable without being exhausting. Coupled with the warm, friendly, and attentive service from the crew, it was truly a wonderful and enjoyable trip!

Det finnes dagsturer til Halong-bukten, men for de som har tid, anbefaler jeg absolutt å oppleve en overnatting. Soloppgangen og solnedgangen er virkelig verdt å få med seg. Jeg var bekymret for transporten fra Hanoi siden det var første gang, men guiden Lee ordnet alt på en utmerket måte, og fra jeg ble hentet, kunne jeg senke skuldrene! Om bord blir turen enda morsommere om du deltar i padleaktiviteter. Jeg kunne ikke det selv og ble med i båt i stedet, noe som også var en fantastisk opplevelse! Jeg var litt bekymret for å reise alene og ikke være så god i engelsk, men takket være hyggelige ansatte og medreisende følte jeg meg aldri ensom, og jeg lo mye. All maten var kjempegod, og rommet var nydelig! Atmosfæren var også fin for de som bare vil slappe av. Det var en interessant opplevelse i seg selv at det deltok mennesker fra så mange ulike land og bakgrunner. Vi var heldige med været, og det ble et fantastisk cruise.

La meg begynne med en ærlig omtale. For det første er det et budsjettvennlig cruise. Man kan ikke få en så hyggelig og dyktig ekspert. Guiden vår, Victor, er den beste av alle, du kan ikke finne en person som Victor. God innkvartering og aktivitet, alt er i toppklasse. Den beste opplevelsen i mitt liv, folkens, bare bestill!
