Miyako District

We made a reservation for four people and went. It seemed like about 6 people were grouped together, and 4 groups were on the boat at the same time. Each group had an instructor assigned, and for those who couldn't swim, they were given a tube attached to a rope and pulled from start to finish :) There were a total of three spots, and the first one was the best. We started at 11:30 AM and returned around 2:30 PM.

Yuri var guiden vår, og ærlig talt, han gjorde hele opplevelsen! Supervennlig helt fra starten, og energien hans var så varm og betryggende, spesielt for nybegynnere som oss. Vi følte oss helt trygge hele tiden. Vi var i en liten gruppe, noe vi virkelig likte, det gjorde at alt føltes mer personlig. Det som virkelig skilte seg ut var hvor hardt han jobbet for å gi oss flotte bilder. Han dykket ned flere meter, holdt posisjonen sin og blåste store bobleringer bare for å ramme inn bildet. Vanndybden var også perfekt, grunt nok til at vi kunne sveve rett over korallene og se alle fiskene gjøre sitt uten anstrengelse. Det var andre folk som svømte rundt, men Yuri gjorde det enkelt å få øye på ham og samles igjen når vi trengte det. Vi er så fornøyde med opplevelsen!

Det var en fantastisk opplevelse! Guiden Mashi var så entusiastisk og tok flotte bilder av oss. Det var så bra at han tok oss med til steder med havskilpadder, Nemo-fisk, koraller og fiskestimer. Spesielt bra var det at vi så én skilpadde med en gang vi kom dit, og på slutten så vi tre skilpadder samtidig! 😍 Anbefales på det sterkeste! Vi kunne kommunisere på engelsk, og han snakket også litt koreansk, så det var veldig behagelig. Han sjekket også hvordan vi hadde det underveis, så selv om man ikke kan japansk, kan man nyte det fullt ut! Etter opplevelsen sendte han oss bildene med AirDrop med en gang, noe som var veldig bra. Han tok mange bilder etter hverandre, så det var mye å velge mellom. Jeg var bekymret for at det skulle være kaldt, men det var ikke kaldt i det hele tatt, det var perfekt. Jeg kommer nok til å dra tilbake til Miyakojima for å snorkle igjen! Dette alene er verdt det.

Snorkeling in Miyakojima in winter! And I even met such a pretty and cute turtle ^-^ I was worried about the weather, so I kept hesitating, but I made a last-minute reservation the day before. Thanks to the kind guidance and care, I had a very enjoyable time with my children! They also took really pretty pictures from time to time, so I think it will be a very memorable experience! We participated in the snorkeling to see sea turtles and SUP activities this time, and it was a lot of fun; everyone had a great time. Although there was a language barrier, our guide Yumi was still very dedicated and tried her best to instruct us with gestures, constantly checking on us. She also took many photos. We were very lucky to see cute sea turtles as soon as we got into the water, as well as coral reefs and beautiful Nemo fish hiding in the anemones. We look forward to coming back with our children next time.

Pros: Loved our tour of the Pumpkin Cave. Jumping off the pumpkin into the water fun! Kayaking was nice. Cons: We could not take our camera and had to rely on the photos they took for us. Unfortunately their pictures aren't super great, some turned out ok, but most were grainy. It was crowded. Group after group went into the pumpkin cave.

Highly recommend Instructor Yusho! We had an unforgettable day today! Although we saw super cute clownfish in the morning, we didn't see any sea turtles. We didn't want to push it, thinking the instructor might be too tired, but to our surprise, after taking all the other guests out at 5 PM, Yusho-san was still willing to specially take us into the sea to look for sea turtles! The moment we saw the sea turtles, we were incredibly happy, and the photos the instructor took are unbelievably beautiful 😭😭 (seriously!). The instructor is professional, thoughtful, and dedicated. We will definitely look for him again next time we come to Miyakojima! Friends from Taiwan, you can't go wrong with Instructor Yusho! Yusho-san, thank you for the best experience! The clownfish in the morning were cute, but what touched us most was your hospitality. Even though you must have been tired after guiding so many guests until 5 PM, you still went out of your way to take us to the sea to look for sea turtles. Thanks to you, we were able to see the sea turtles we had longed for, and you took so many amazing photos for us; we are truly happy 😭😭. We recently participated in the half-day sea turtle snorkeling and SUP activity booked through Klook, and the overall experience was truly fantastic! Our guide, Jam, was incredibly patient and friendly. From the initial briefing to the activity itself, he took great care of everyone, making us feel very comfortable. Especially when we were out on the water, Jam constantly monitored our well-being and prioritized safety, which allowed even first-timers to participate with confidence. Although it was a bit windy and the sea conditions were slightly challenging that day, the entire trip was still a lot of fun, and both SUP and snorkeling were very enjoyable. The best part was that we actually saw sea turtles in the end! Being able to see sea turtles up close in such beautiful waters was truly moving and became one of the most unforgettable memories of this trip. I highly recommend this activity to anyone visiting Miyakojima, and I'm very grateful to Jam for his care throughout, which helped us create such wonderful memories!

It was even more beautiful than I imagined! The sunset was absolutely stunning, and I think it will be an unforgettable memory. Our guide (MoMo) was also incredibly kind, which made the whole experience enjoyable! I traveled alone on foot, and everything went smoothly. There were also many couples, so I think this experience would be a great fit for anyone, regardless of how they're traveling. I'll definitely come back again! Thank you!
