Miyako District

Many thanks to Ken-chan for providing us with an unparalleled experience! Our family of three signed up for this tour, which included round-trip transportation! There were about seven or eight other people in our group, mostly Japanese! It was clear that everyone shared a love for insects and stargazing! Our guide, Ken-chan, is a very professional and handsome guy! He also speaks English! He led us to see plants, small lizards, geckos, butterflies, spiders, cicadas, coconut crabs, stick insects, and praying mantises on Miyakojima, providing very detailed and thorough explanations! In the latter half of the tour, he took us stargazing. We saw the Summer Triangle in the Northern Hemisphere's night sky, and the moon and Venus were incredibly close! The sky full of stars was beautiful! Ken-chan also took time-lapse photos for each group that signed up. If you come to Miyakojima, you absolutely must sign up for this tour; it will definitely create wonderful memories!

I originally planned to join a standard bus tour, but after looking at many itineraries, I felt that the time spent at each attraction was too short, lacking the relaxed feeling a tropical island trip should have. So, I ultimately chose a private tour, and after experiencing it, I feel it was well worth it. Before departure, I communicated via email and LINE to discuss the attractions I wanted to visit. The itinerary could be flexibly adjusted, which was very reassuring. Our private guide for the day, Ken-san, is a Japanese man who loves to travel and speaks excellent English. My English proficiency is quite basic, but he adapted to my level, communicating in simple, easy-to-understand English. When we encountered more difficult parts, he used translation software to show me the Chinese translation. The whole process was very thoughtful and stress-free, and he also helped take photos along the way. Before the tour ended, he recommended some great restaurants and even helped make reservations in Japanese over the phone, which was a huge bonus. Overall, it was a very comfortable, relaxed, and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for more flexibility in planning their itinerary.

After failing to find the turtles and Nemo on our own, we quickly searched and booked this tour. It was the top wish for this trip, as my child really wanted to see sea turtles and Nemo. The guide spoke English, so communication was easy while snorkeling. Since both I and my child are very timid, I was worried from the start, but I appreciated that safety was their top priority. We were grouped with a Japanese family and a solo male traveler, and our companions were very kind and great. And finally, we saw Nemo and sea turtles! We got super lucky 😍 We created wonderful memories as a family of three, and we are so grateful to our leader, Ken, for taking such good care of us! Thank you so much Ken! 😄😄

We had wonderful Ten for our snorkeling session. He was friendly, patient and a real talented photographer too. We have the best photos from our trip with him. Please request Ten if you value the memories from your trip. He made sure we are all safe, happy and well looked after at all times. It's not easy coordinating photos with a family but he made it effortless. If I'm ever coming back to Miyakojima, I'll be sure to book with him again. He also recommended us some very very good places to eat and drink. All bangers with locals and visitors alike. Thank you a million times, Ten. You made this trip super memorable for us. I signed up for the sea turtle snorkeling and canoe experience! Momo was in charge of the sea turtle snorkeling, and Julia handled the canoeing! Both of them were friendly and beautiful, making it an amazing experience!! 💃✨ I had trouble with the parking lot because it only accepted 1,000 yen bills, but they kindly held onto my luggage for me! For snorkeling, they even had an AED ready, and for those unsure about swimming, they would pull you along with a red float, which was very reassuring. ◎ They thoroughly checked our physical condition and took photos at each spot, making it perfect for creating memories 📷. First, we got used to the shallow water before moving to the deeper areas. They said sea turtles might not be there even on sunny days, but this time, it was sunny, and I was super lucky to swim with sea turtles ✌️. At the end, they provided plenty of water, which was a huge help since I was covered in seawater! Next, after a lunch break, everyone gathered for canoeing and SUP. A couple from Taiwan was there, and since Julia, who speaks four languages, was their guide, communication was incredibly smooth 😆. They clearly taught us how to paddle both canoes and SUPs, and everyone enjoyed themselves in their own way. ◎ Here too, they took videos for us and shared interesting facts about the rocks. Julia, with her vibrant energy, was the best! 🤩 I was lucky to meet Julia, as it was her last day working there!!! Overall, I'm so glad I booked this tour!! We had an incredible day doing SUP and snorkeling on Miyako Island! Our guide Hana was absolutely amazing. She was super patient, carefully explained all safety tips and taught us how to use the equipment, perfect even for beginners. Hana kept checking on us in the water the whole time, making us feel safe and relaxed. We got to enjoy the stunning Miyako Blue sea, and she took many wonderful photos and videos for us. Hana is friendly, professional and knowledgeable. This tour is the highlight of our trip to Okinawa. We highly recommend! Thank you so much, Hana!

কোচ ইউশোকে অত্যন্ত সুপারিশ করছি! আজকের দিনটি সত্যিই খুব আবেগঘন এবং আনন্দের ছিল! সকালে খুব সুন্দর ক্লাউনফিশ দেখতে পেলেও সামুদ্রিক কচ্ছপ দেখতে পাইনি~ ভেবেছিলাম কোচ হয়তো খুব ক্লান্ত, তাই জোর করতে চাইনি। কিন্তু ভাবতেও পারিনি যে বিকেল পাঁচটায় সমস্ত পর্যটককে গাইড করার পরেও ইউশো-সান বিশেষভাবে আমাদের কচ্ছপ খুঁজতে সমুদ্রে নিয়ে যেতে রাজি হবেন! কচ্ছপটি দেখতে পাওয়ার মুহূর্তটি সত্যিই দারুণ আনন্দের ছিল, আর কোচ যে ছবিগুলো তুলেছেন তা অবিশ্বাস্য রকমের সুন্দর😭😭 (সত্যিই!) কোচ অত্যন্ত পেশাদার, যত্নশীল এবং দায়িত্ববান। পরের বার যখন মায়াকোজিমায় আসব, অবশ্যই আবার তার সাথেই যোগাযোগ করব! তাইওয়ানের বন্ধুরা, কোচ ইউশোকে বেছে নেওয়াটাই সবচেয়ে সঠিক সিদ্ধান্ত হবে! ইউশো-সান, চমৎকার একটি অভিজ্ঞতার জন্য আপনাকে অনেক ধন্যবাদ! সকালের অ্যানিমোন ফিশ (ক্লাউনফিশ) খুব সুন্দর ছিল, তবে সবচেয়ে বেশি মুগ্ধ করেছে ইউশো-সানের আন্তরিক আতিথেয়তা। বিকেল ৫টা পর্যন্ত অনেক পর্যটককে গাইড করার কারণে তার ক্লান্ত থাকার কথা, তবুও শুধু আমাদের জন্য তিনি কষ্ট করে সমুদ্রে নিয়ে গিয়ে সামুদ্রিক কচ্ছপ খুঁজে দিয়েছেন। এর ফলে আমরা আমাদের কাঙ্ক্ষিত কচ্ছপ দেখতে পেয়েছি এবং অনেক সুন্দর ছবিও তুলে দিয়েছেন, আমি সত্যিই খুব খুশি😭😭। আপনি যদি মায়াকোজিমায় আসেন, আমি আন্তরিকভাবে ইউশো-সানকে সুপারিশ করছি! আমরা অবশ্যই আবার দেখা করতে আসব! ইন্সট্রাক্টর ইউশোকে অত্যন্ত সুপারিশ করছি! আমাদের দিনটি ছিল অবিস্মরণীয়। সকালে আমরা সুন্দর ক্লাউনফিশ দেখলেও কচ্ছপ দেখতে পাইনি। আমরা আর জোরাজুরি করতে চাইনি কারণ আমরা জানতাম ইউশো সারাদিন ধরে ব্যস্ত ছিলেন, কিন্তু অবিশ্বাস্যভাবে তিনি বিকেল ৫টায় শুধু কচ্ছপগুলো খুঁজে দেওয়ার জন্য আমাদের আবার সমুদ্রে নিয়ে যেতে প্রস্তাব করলেন! কচ্ছপ দেখতে পাওয়াটা ছিল একটি স্বপ্নের মতো, এবং তিনি যে ছবিগুলো তুলেছেন তা সত্যিই চমৎকার😭😭। ইউশো পেশাদার, নিবেদিতপ্রাণ এবং খুবই দয়ালু। আপনি যদি মায়াকোজিমা পরিদর্শন করেন, তিনিই সেরা! আবার ফিরে আসার জন্য তর সইছে না!

An amazing experience and highly recommended! Although a few issues came up before the trip, Klook's customer support handled them promptly so our schedule wasn't disrupted.
