Miyako District

Many thanks to Ken-chan for providing us with an unparalleled experience! Our family of three signed up for this tour, which included round-trip transportation! There were about seven or eight other people in our group, mostly Japanese! It was clear that everyone shared a love for insects and stargazing! Our guide, Ken-chan, is a very professional and handsome guy! He also speaks English! He led us to see plants, small lizards, geckos, butterflies, spiders, cicadas, coconut crabs, stick insects, and praying mantises on Miyakojima, providing very detailed and thorough explanations! In the latter half of the tour, he took us stargazing. We saw the Summer Triangle in the Northern Hemisphere's night sky, and the moon and Venus were incredibly close! The sky full of stars was beautiful! Ken-chan also took time-lapse photos for each group that signed up. If you come to Miyakojima, you absolutely must sign up for this tour; it will definitely create wonderful memories!

Our chartered car tour experience was fantastic! We booked a car for 5 hours and arranged to visit three attractions, and the timing worked out perfectly with no delays. Although our driver was Japanese, he was very kind and friendly, and communicating with him, even through gestures, was no problem at all. He always waited nearby at each attraction, which made us feel very secure. He even offered to help us take photos, which was really sweet! One of our stops was the Snow Salt Museum, and after enjoying some ice cream, we found a beautiful beach right next to it. We spent some time on the beach; the scenery was gorgeous, and the weather was lovely. The kids enjoyed wading in the water and playing in the sand, making for a delightful afternoon. Before heading to our last destination, the driver proactively took us to see Ikema Bridge, where we enjoyed the ocean view and the breeze – it was wonderful. This was a great chartered car experience, highly recommended!

I originally planned to join a standard bus tour, but after looking at many itineraries, I felt that the time spent at each attraction was too short, lacking the relaxed feeling a tropical island trip should have. So, I ultimately chose a private tour, and after experiencing it, I feel it was well worth it. Before departure, I communicated via email and LINE to discuss the attractions I wanted to visit. The itinerary could be flexibly adjusted, which was very reassuring. Our private guide for the day, Ken-san, is a Japanese man who loves to travel and speaks excellent English. My English proficiency is quite basic, but he adapted to my level, communicating in simple, easy-to-understand English. When we encountered more difficult parts, he used translation software to show me the Chinese translation. The whole process was very thoughtful and stress-free, and he also helped take photos along the way. Before the tour ended, he recommended some great restaurants and even helped make reservations in Japanese over the phone, which was a huge bonus. Overall, it was a very comfortable, relaxed, and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for more flexibility in planning their itinerary.

It was windy but worth it. Love the food as well. The staff also gladly took photos when the ship passed by the bridge.

It was a great day. Even if I made a temporary reservation, I got a good service and experience. I would like to thank Kenta (I don't know if the name is written correctly) for contacting me by email in a timely manner after learning that I can't communicate by phone. His English is very good. We talked a lot about the paddleboard. I hope I can meet you again next time I come to Miyako！

After failing to find the turtles and Nemo on our own, we quickly searched and booked this tour. It was the top wish for this trip, as my child really wanted to see sea turtles and Nemo. The guide spoke English, so communication was easy while snorkeling. Since both I and my child are very timid, I was worried from the start, but I appreciated that safety was their top priority. We were grouped with a Japanese family and a solo male traveler, and our companions were very kind and great. And finally, we saw Nemo and sea turtles! We got super lucky 😍 We created wonderful memories as a family of three, and we are so grateful to our leader, Ken, for taking such good care of us! Thank you so much Ken! 😄😄

Egy háromtagú család, köztük egy 7 éves gyermek, jelentkezett a túrára. Egyénileg utaztunk a találkozási pontra, és Ten, az idegenvezetőnk, a megérkezésünk körüli időben felhívott minket, így könnyen megtaláltuk a helyet. A túra során egy olyan gyermek is velünk volt, aki nem tudott jól úszni, és hirtelen viharos időjárás kerekedett a túra napján, erős hullámokkal, ami miatt nagyon aggódtunk. Azonban Ten angolul és egyszerű koreai nyelven részletesen elmagyarázta a felszerelés használatát és a biztonsági szabályokat, ami nagyon megnyugtató volt. A teknős ponton három teknőssel is találkoztunk, és fényképeket is készítettünk. Annak ellenére, hogy viharos szél és hullámok voltak, csodálatos szögekből készített rólunk képeket. A Nemo ponthoz nem tudtunk elmenni, mert a gyermek tengeribeteg lett és ki akart menni... helyette gyönyörű képeket osztott meg velünk! Ten elkísért minket a kijárati pontig, így biztonságosan kijutottunk. Annak ellenére, hogy a csapatunk miatt viszonylag hosszú utat kellett megtennünk oda-vissza, hálásak voltunk a kedves útmutatásért. A túra befejezése után azonnal elküldte a képeket AirDroppal, ami nagyon jó volt. A túra utáni szolgáltatás is tökéletes volt, még ajánlott éttermeket és látványosságokat is küldött KakaoTalkon keresztül. Bár az időjárás nem volt ideális, ennek köszönhetően egy felejthetetlen élménnyel gazdagodtunk! Nagyon ajánlom. Külön köszönet Tennek a kemény munkájáért!

We made a reservation for four people and went. It seemed like about 6 people were grouped together, and 4 groups were on the boat at the same time. Each group had an instructor assigned, and for those who couldn't swim, they were given a tube attached to a rope and pulled from start to finish :) There were a total of three spots, and the first one was the best. We started at 11:30 AM and returned around 2:30 PM.
