The tour fee was affordable and definitely worth it. I didn’t feel tired during the trip because everything was well-organized and enjoyable. The places we visited were all amazing, especially the Yilan Traditional Arts Center performances, Kavalan Distillery, and Jiaoxi. I enjoyed everything so much. We also got discounts when buying products at the Kavalan store, which made the experience even better.

This tour was very pleasant and enjoyable. Our tour guide, Kate Chen, was funny, joyful, generous, and extremely informative. The locations we went to were a great experience and Kate always made it very easy to get back to the bus and communicated timelines well. The bubble tea sample was exceptional. We were given insight of the locations visited beforehand and provided wonderful recommendations and maps texted to us. Also, Luodong night market is one of the best night markets I’ve visited in Taiwan. Highly recommend this tour and specifically Kate Chen as the guide.

Our guide Toku is simply amazing! super knowledgeable and insightful about many things relating to Taiwan. the farming scene, the delicacies and the history. it was such a peaceful and relaxing time spent with him! he was also very thoughtful and considerate to making places we visit convenient and comfortable for us. it was such an amazing time spent!

The definite highlight of the tour is Kavalan Distillery. The English tour was great - it was quick but very informative and the guide was very friendly and engaging. I wish the alloted time at Kavalan was longer (20-30 minutes), as it felt a bit rushed. The brewing company stop afterwards was unnecessary as there was no tour of the facility or even a basic introduction to the types of beers produced. I would recommend removing this from the itinerary altogether. The rice wine factory stop afterwards was okay - primarily for historical purposes of Yilan region. But also no basic introduction or tour of the facility and its history. Wasted opportunity in my opinion. Exploring historical Shenkeng Old Street was a nice final stop on the tour. Very lovely street with shops, stalls, restaurants, etc. Known for the stinky tofu, so fair warning of the strong unpleasant smell permeating most of the street. But very nostalgic with a beautiful view of the river next to the street.

Elmentem a Delfinles és Jangmei Állatfarm túrára. Az idegenvezetőm, Jason, nagyon kedves és segítőkész volt! Nem volt problémám az angol nyelvű kommunikációval. A delfinek gyönyörűek voltak, a táj lenyűgöző, az állatfarmon lévő állatok pedig mind barátságosak és imádnivalóak voltak. Ha Tajpejben száll meg, feltétlenül csatlakozzon ehhez a túrához, mivel a transzferbusz is benne van az árban! Hallottam, hogy hétfőn sok étterem zárva tart, ezért vittem magammal ebédet, de néhány étterem nyitva van, így nem kell előre elkészítenie az ebédjét.

Love the kavalan whiskey visit. It was an eye opening trip. The environment was pleasant and the whiskey tasting was lovely. There was sufficient time allocated for it and we had enough time to ask the sales questions to get the whiskeys we wanted. The gelato whiskey are a must try. The craft beer visit was interesting too although i would think the alcohol is a little too much and not to my taste but the experience over fun overall. The view up in the tower overlooking the area is fun though. Taiwan Brewery as the last stop was nice. The place was big and the history of it could be seen. The Shaoxing soaked eggs are also a must try. By this time, i had too much alcohol to be able to try any beer here but the recommendation of the 18 days beer by our influencer tour mate was a wonderful recommendation. The old street was a lovely walk down history too.

2026. július 8-án fantasztikus KLOOK utazáson vettem részt a Yehliu Geoparkba, Jiufen óvárosába, a vízeséshez és a Shifen égbolti lámpás élményre! Idegenvezetőnk (Richard) nagyszerű volt: megosztotta tudását Tajvanról és a meglátogatott területekről, és elmondta, mely üzleteket tartja a legjobbnak teák, ananászos sütemény, sertéshúsos tészta leves és tajvani kolbász vásárlására – ami nagyon hasznos volt. Richard kiválóan tartotta az időt, így mindenki remekül érezte magát. A busz tiszta volt és légkondicionált – ami hasznos volt a nyári hőségben. Én személy szerint nagyon élveztem az égbolti lámpás felengedését – wow! Micsoda öröm!! Olyan volt, mint a Disney „Aranyhaj és a nagy gubanc” című filmjének az a jelenete: sok lámpást látni az égen. Erősen ajánlom ezt a túrát, és újra elmennék rá! Köszönöm, Richard, a fantasztikus ajánlásokat!

Sophie is an excellent tour guide and very approachable. She even lent us some cash when we didn't have any. Thank you for allowing us to experience this tour. My only suggestion is that I hope we can stay longer at the windmill because we left before sunset and didn't fully enjoy the view. Hopefully, next time, you will consider letting us stay for at least two to three minutes during sunset. Thank you.
