The tour fee was affordable and definitely worth it. I didn’t feel tired during the trip because everything was well-organized and enjoyable. The places we visited were all amazing, especially the Yilan Traditional Arts Center performances, Kavalan Distillery, and Jiaoxi. I enjoyed everything so much. We also got discounts when buying products at the Kavalan store, which made the experience even better.

This tour was very pleasant and enjoyable. Our tour guide, Kate Chen, was funny, joyful, generous, and extremely informative. The locations we went to were a great experience and Kate always made it very easy to get back to the bus and communicated timelines well. The bubble tea sample was exceptional. We were given insight of the locations visited beforehand and provided wonderful recommendations and maps texted to us. Also, Luodong night market is one of the best night markets I’ve visited in Taiwan. Highly recommend this tour and specifically Kate Chen as the guide.

Our guide Toku is simply amazing! super knowledgeable and insightful about many things relating to Taiwan. the farming scene, the delicacies and the history. it was such a peaceful and relaxing time spent with him! he was also very thoughtful and considerate to making places we visit convenient and comfortable for us. it was such an amazing time spent!

Το απόλυτο αποκορύφωμα της περιήγησης είναι το αποστακτήριο Kavalan. Η αγγλική ξενάγηση ήταν υπέροχη – ήταν σύντομη αλλά πολύ ενημερωτική και ο ξεναγός ήταν πολύ φιλικός και ελκυστικός. Μακάρι ο χρόνος που διατέθηκε στο Kavalan να ήταν μεγαλύτερος (20-30 λεπτά), καθώς ένιωσα ότι ήταν λίγο βιαστικό. Η στάση στην εταιρεία ζυθοποιίας μετά ήταν περιττή, καθώς δεν υπήρχε ξενάγηση στις εγκαταστάσεις ούτε καν μια βασική εισαγωγή στους τύπους μπύρας που παράγονται. Θα συνιστούσα να αφαιρεθεί εντελώς από το δρομολόγιο. Η στάση στο εργοστάσιο κρασιού ρυζιού μετά ήταν εντάξει – κυρίως για ιστορικούς σκοπούς της περιοχής Yilan. Αλλά επίσης δεν υπήρχε βασική εισαγωγή ή ξενάγηση στις εγκαταστάσεις και την ιστορία τους. Χαμένη ευκαιρία κατά τη γνώμη μου. Η εξερεύνηση της ιστορικής οδού Shenkeng Old Street ήταν μια ωραία τελευταία στάση στην περιήγηση. Πολύ όμορφος δρόμος με καταστήματα, πάγκους, εστιατόρια κ.λπ. Γνωστός για το δύσοσμο τόφου, οπότε προειδοποίηση για την έντονη δυσάρεστη οσμή που διαπερνά το μεγαλύτερο μέρος του δρόμου. Αλλά πολύ νοσταλγικός με μια όμορφη θέα του ποταμού δίπλα στο δρόμο.

Πήγα στην εκδρομή Παρατήρησης Δελφινιών & Φάρμας Ζώων Jangmei. Ο ξεναγός μου, ο Jason, ήταν πραγματικά ευγενικός και εξυπηρετικός! Δεν είχα κανένα πρόβλημα στην επικοινωνία στα Αγγλικά. Τα δελφίνια ήταν πανέμορφα, το τοπίο ήταν εκπληκτικό, τα ζώα στη φάρμα ήταν όλα φιλικά και αξιολάτρευτα. Αν μένετε στην Ταϊπέι, θα πρέπει οπωσδήποτε να συμμετάσχετε σε αυτή την εκδρομή, καθώς περιλαμβάνεται το λεωφορείο μεταφοράς! Άκουσα ότι τη Δευτέρα πολλά εστιατόρια είναι κλειστά, οπότε έφερα το δικό μου μεσημεριανό, αλλά κάποια εστιατόρια είναι ανοιχτά, οπότε δεν χρειάζεται να προετοιμάσετε το μεσημεριανό σας.

Love the kavalan whiskey visit. It was an eye opening trip. The environment was pleasant and the whiskey tasting was lovely. There was sufficient time allocated for it and we had enough time to ask the sales questions to get the whiskeys we wanted. The gelato whiskey are a must try. The craft beer visit was interesting too although i would think the alcohol is a little too much and not to my taste but the experience over fun overall. The view up in the tower overlooking the area is fun though. Taiwan Brewery as the last stop was nice. The place was big and the history of it could be seen. The Shaoxing soaked eggs are also a must try. By this time, i had too much alcohol to be able to try any beer here but the recommendation of the 18 days beer by our influencer tour mate was a wonderful recommendation. The old street was a lovely walk down history too.

on July 8, 2026 - I had a Fabulous KLOOK trip to Yehliu Geo park, Jiufen old town, Waterfall, & Shifen Sky Lantern experience! Our Guide (Richard) was Great: sharing his knowledge of Taiwan and the areas we visited, & which shops he thought were best to purchase teas, pineapple cake, Pork Noodle Soup, Taiwanese sausage - which was very helpful. Richard did a great job keeping us on-time so everyone had a great time. The bus was clean and had air conditioning - which was helpful in the summer heat. I personally enjoyed launching the Sky Lantern- wow! What a joy!! It was like that scene in Disney’s “Tangled”: seeing many Lanterns in the sky. I strongly recommend this tour AND I would take it again! Thanks Richard for your Awesome recommendations!

Sophie is an excellent tour guide and very approachable. She even lent us some cash when we didn't have any. Thank you for allowing us to experience this tour. My only suggestion is that I hope we can stay longer at the windmill because we left before sunset and didn't fully enjoy the view. Hopefully, next time, you will consider letting us stay for at least two to three minutes during sunset. Thank you.
