Our tour guide, Alicia, was very understanding and considerate of those who couldn’t walk fast. The whole trip was easy and hassle-free. We were even able to order our lunch through her, and she also took care of buying our train tickets. The views were absolutely breathtaking! My knees were definitely having a hard time, but I still managed to enjoy the trip. ❤️

Moose picked us up directly from our hotel, which was so convenient and easy. His driving was incredibly smooth and comfortable—we ended up sleeping like babies on the way! Thank you, Moose, for taking such memorable photos for us and explaining everything so clearly in English. ​Our tour group members were also super sweet and friendly, so we could fully enjoy the peaceful nature without any noise or discomfort. I would love to visit Taiwan again around April when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom! Thank you so much for your great sense of humor and making us laugh throughout the trip. Wow~ I really feel like you can't visit Alishan unless you take a tour package. I realized there are a lot more high mountains in Taiwan than I thought. There are even higher mountains, but Alishan was also truly fascinating and extremely, extremely high;; Just going up and down the mountain takes an hour, and combined with the travel time from Taichung... it really exhausted me; Even after getting to Fenqihu, I thought, "Okay, we're finally here," but absolutely not. If you get motion sickness, you really, really need to bring motion sickness medicine... Even though I don't usually get motion sickness, it was really tough for me; Strangely, the Chinese-speaking participants on the tour—whether they were Taiwanese(?) or Chinese(?), I'm not sure—were all full of energy and completely fine... The tour guide was Taiwanese, and since there were 4 participants each from Taiwan and South Korea, instead of English, they guided us in Taiwanese and used a translation app for Korean~ Although the trip was exhausting, the photos are so pretty that all those feelings completely vanish, so prepare your stamina well and make sure to visit Alishan, everyone~ It is incredibly magnificent!

The scenery at Chiayi Taiping Suspension Bridge is incredibly beautiful and pleasing to the eye. Klook's ticketing system is very convenient; you can scan the QR code directly for quick and affordable entry. Walking on the suspension bridge at an elevation of 1,000 meters truly gives you a floating sensation; it's genuinely a high-altitude cloud ladder. On the other side of the suspension bridge, you'll find panoramic views that can only be described as breathtaking. The scenery at Yunzhinan Tea Garden is stunning, and from there, you can walk to Taiping Old Street. Upon exiting, you'll see the Air Library, where you can enjoy a local hot pot set meal. It's definitely worth recommending a visit here.

Az Alishan-i utazás egyszerűen fantasztikus volt 🌟👏 Az Alishan „szent fái” évezredeken átívelő, lenyűgöző látványt nyújtanak. Ezek a fenséges „szent fák” csendesen állnak az őserdőben, némelyik vörös ciprusfa több mint 2000 éves, ezért „élő történelemkönyvnek” is nevezik őket. Úgy éreztük magunkat, mintha egy másik világba csöppentünk volna, egy tündérkertbe. Köszönjük idegenvezetőnknek, Kaige-nek, aki kedves és türelmes volt, rendkívül gazdag szakértelemmel rendelkezett Alishan kulturális történelméről, növény- és állatvilágáról. Útközben bemutatta nekünk a látnivalókat, történelmi történeteket mesélt, segített fényképeket készíteni, és sok örömet szerzett az egész utazásnak. Overall, my experience on Alishan this time was really great 🌿🚂 There was no pressure to rush through the itinerary. Riding the small train slowly through the forest, the scenery along the way was very therapeutic, and the air was incredibly fresh. I felt completely relaxed. The trails were also well-planned, making it comfortable to stop and go as I pleased, perfect for those who want to slow down. Regarding the tour guide, the one we had this time was very friendly and professional. Not only did they provide detailed explanations, but they also proactively guided us to good photo spots and even helped take pictures. This added many positive details to the entire trip and made us feel very at ease.

Azért foglaltam le az 1 éjszakás, 2 napos Alishan utat (odaút: autóval, visszaút: autóval + vonattal), mert vonzónak találtam, hogy az erdei vasút is benne van. A foglalás visszaigazolása után LINE-on keresztül kaptam információkat a szükséges holmikról és fontos tudnivalókról, majd közvetlenül az utazás előtt részletes információkat a találkozási pontról, a sofőr nevéről és a transzferautó rendszámáról, ami megnyugtató volt. (Minden kínaiul volt, de fordítóprogrammal megoldható volt.) Az autóba való beszálláskor kapott dokumentumok japánul is elérhetőek voltak, ami érthetővé tette őket. Az idegenvezetés kínai nyelven zajlott, így valakinek le kellett fordítania nekem, de a kétórás túra során sok időt szántak a magyarázatokra, és az útvonal is jól karbantartott volt, fapadlóval és macskakővel, így még én is, aki nem vagyok jó kondiban, esőben is kényelmesen tudtam sétálni. Egy dologra érdemes figyelni: ha autót (privát transzfert) vesz igénybe, nagy a kockázata az autóbetegségnek, mivel az út meglehetősen meredek és kanyargós hegyi utakon halad. Bár általában nem szoktam rosszul lenni autóban, az Alishanból Fenqihu-ba tartó visszaúton nagyon rosszul éreztem magam a transzferautóban, és azt gondoltam, hogy hoznom kellett volna hányinger elleni gyógyszert.

Idegenvezetőnk, Jason nagyon kedves és segítőkész volt. Gondoskodott róla, hogy kényelmesen érezzük magunkat és jól lakjunk. Sok látványosságot megnéztünk és különböző tevékenységeket végeztünk. Nagyon élveztük az Alishanba tett rövid utat. #JasonWolf

A very comfortable and wonderful day! Hotel pick-up and drop-off were extremely convenient, and the itinerary was well-organized. Although the drive from Taichung to Alishan involves a long stretch of winding mountain roads, the driver, Mr. Ren, drove very steadily and reassuringly. The tea-picking experience exceeded expectations; I originally thought it would be mainly about pushing tea sales, but actually the owner and staff of the tea plantation were very warm and attentive with no forced sales at all. They first introduced the process of tea picking and making, took us to tour the workshop, and then let us taste various teas such as black tea and oolong tea, along with some small snacks. The owner himself studied agricultural planting techniques on the mainland for a year in his early years and cares deeply about the tea plantation. The pace of the entire tour was great, and we got to see all the highlights of Alishan. It really saves a lot of hassle compared to arranging transportation on your own. I highly recommend this Alishan day tour to everyone!
