Chiayi: Alishan egynapos túra (indulás Taichungból/Chiayiból/Kaohsiungból)

We really had fun! Even though we visited during the rainy season— and it was raining really hard during our small trail, it still made our experience memorable! Our guide, Captain Cook was very funny and very informative! He is also very friendly! He drives really well too! We are thinking of coming back again during the spring season (I think this will be the best time to visit alishan because of the flowers 🥰) Overall, this trip is definitely worth it! Alishan has always been on my bucket list, and this package made it possible! There are always DIY options, but nothing beats a worry-free day abroad. Our guide Alicia has been very patient, friendly and helpful. She also takes good photos!

We had a wonderful time in Alishan thanks to Alicia! The trip is a bit long but it is a great way to get to know this part of Taiwan if you are on a schedule, as you get to see some of the highlights and be back to the city within the same day. Our guide Stella was wonderful from the moment she picked us up at the Kaohsiung high speed rail station to the drop off. The car ride up the mountain was through some very windy roads so beware if you're prone to motion sickness. We had great luck and had the opportunity to ride the once a week wooden train up Alishan but the trails and trees are still well worth it even if you don't get to ride it. Would highly recommend this tour and Stella as your guide for your trip up this beautiful mountain.

Our tour guide was incredible! She was exceptionally knowledgeable about the entire area, especially when sharing fascinating details about the giant cypress trees. As a huge bonus, she had a great eye for photography, knew all the best spots, and took fantastic pictures of us throughout the day. Highly recommended for an unforgettable Alishan experience!

Captain Cook was a really amazing tour guide. I went with my older parents and he was really patient and made sure they were ok during the short hikes. He made sure to give us all the background and history of everything too!
