proximity to the parks is hard to beat. for a “5 star” hotel the rooms leave a lot to be desired, but better than other Disney alternatives. rooms just felt small and bare. but lobby is pretty and again - you’re staying for the park proximity. overall much quieter and calmer than Disneyland hotel, but Disneyland hotel has better pool for older kids looking for some thrills. staff was very very friendly and accommodating.

I stayed for 5 nights and it was even better than I expected. I had stayed at the Disneyland Hotel until the day before, and compared to that, the room and bathroom were clean, and the shower temperature and water pressure were excellent. It seems there's a smoking area outside the hotel entrance, which I think is particularly good for smokers. (Many Japanese people gathered at the smoking area.) Some rooms have microwaves and some don't, depending on the room plan, but there was one microwave on the first floor. On the second floor, there were two sets of laundry machines (washer and dryer), but they were cash-only. The convenience store inside the hotel is overpriced, with a bottle of water costing about 1000 yen, so I recommend bringing water from Japan or buying it at CVS or the pharmacy across the street. It was a 5-minute walk from the hotel to CVS when there weren't many people during the day. For getting to the park, I recommend the free bus from the Toy Story Parking lot, which is across the road. If there are a lot of people, it's about a 15-20 minute walk, but at night, as you get closer to the hotel, the crowds thin out, so using a bus or similar transportation might be safer. This hotel's entrance doors are designed so that you can't open them from the outside without a key card from night until morning, which also made me feel secure. I could even see some of the Disneyland fireworks from outside the hotel!

Ez volt az első külföldi utam egyedülálló nőként, és 4 éjszakát töltöttem itt, hogy eljussak Disneylandbe. Bár szégyenszemre nem beszélek jól angolul, és emiatt aggódtam, a bejelentkezéstől a takarításon át a kijelentkezésig kedvesen és udvariasan bántak velem. Disneyland gyalog 10-20 percre van, ami kiváló elhelyezkedés, de mivel nem vagyok a legjobb formában, és fáradt voltam, a visszaút gyalog már nehézkes volt. A környék biztonságos, különösen éjszaka, mivel sokan jönnek vissza a parkból, így nem voltam egyedül, és biztonságban éreztem magam egyedül sétálva. A szoba tiszta és kényelmes volt. Javasolt magunkkal hozni fogkefét, pizsamát és papucsot, mivel ezek nincsenek. A takarítás csak kérésre történik, így a második napon személyesen mentem a recepcióra (mivel aggódtam a telefonos kommunikáció miatt), és kértem, hogy takarítsanak ki. A kijelentkezéskor véletlenül találkoztam egy munkatárssal, aki megkérdezte, hogy kijelentkezem-e, és csak átadtam neki a szobakulcsot, ezzel el is intéződött minden! Könnyű és kényelmes volt. Bár sok minden volt először, biztonságos, kényelmes és megfizethető volt, így nagyszerűen éreztem magam. Szeretnék újra itt megszállni!

This was my second stay, and I really liked that it was within walking distance of Disneyland. It gets very hot during the day, so being able to return to the hotel to rest and recharge, then re-enter Disneyland in the evening, allowed us to fully enjoy our time. When the toilet got clogged, they responded immediately. The complimentary breakfast was also a great perk. There was even a microwave in the room, so we could make rice balls with the instant rice we brought from Japan.

I stayed for two nights and wanted housekeeping to clean the room, but when I returned after 4 PM, it still hadn't been cleaned. It seemed like they were just a couple of doors down, and I would have appreciated at least a towel exchange, but that didn't happen either. Since there were two of each, I managed, but there was no complimentary water service, so I started to think a better hotel might have been preferable. However, the location is good; I could walk back alone even past midnight, so perhaps it's a trade-off. If it were further away, walking alone might be risky, but because it's close, there were many people walking around even late at night, so it felt safe. It's a bit old, but the cleaning is thorough. It would have been helpful if they had told me the room was in the other building, as I got very lost at first.

The accommodation was a bit too expensive for Japanese guests, so we could only stay for one night, but the room was excellent. It even had a bathtub, which was very relaxing. I accidentally left my room key inside the room and was in a bit of a predicament, but the staff at the lobby kindly assisted me with the process. Plus, we had direct access to both Disneyland parks.
