proximity to the parks is hard to beat. for a “5 star” hotel the rooms leave a lot to be desired, but better than other Disney alternatives. rooms just felt small and bare. but lobby is pretty and again - you’re staying for the park proximity. overall much quieter and calmer than Disneyland hotel, but Disneyland hotel has better pool for older kids looking for some thrills. staff was very very friendly and accommodating.

I stayed for 5 nights and it was even better than I expected. I had stayed at the Disneyland Hotel until the day before, and compared to that, the room and bathroom were clean, and the shower temperature and water pressure were excellent. It seems there's a smoking area outside the hotel entrance, which I think is particularly good for smokers. (Many Japanese people gathered at the smoking area.) Some rooms have microwaves and some don't, depending on the room plan, but there was one microwave on the first floor. On the second floor, there were two sets of laundry machines (washer and dryer), but they were cash-only. The convenience store inside the hotel is overpriced, with a bottle of water costing about 1000 yen, so I recommend bringing water from Japan or buying it at CVS or the pharmacy across the street. It was a 5-minute walk from the hotel to CVS when there weren't many people during the day. For getting to the park, I recommend the free bus from the Toy Story Parking lot, which is across the road. If there are a lot of people, it's about a 15-20 minute walk, but at night, as you get closer to the hotel, the crowds thin out, so using a bus or similar transportation might be safer. This hotel's entrance doors are designed so that you can't open them from the outside without a key card from night until morning, which also made me feel secure. I could even see some of the Disneyland fireworks from outside the hotel!

This was my second stay, and I really liked that it was within walking distance of Disneyland. It gets very hot during the day, so being able to return to the hotel to rest and recharge, then re-enter Disneyland in the evening, allowed us to fully enjoy our time. When the toilet got clogged, they responded immediately. The complimentary breakfast was also a great perk. There was even a microwave in the room, so we could make rice balls with the instant rice we brought from Japan.

Ik verbleef hier 4 nachten voor mijn eerste soloreis naar het buitenland, om Disneyland te bezoeken. Ik schaam me om het toe te geven, maar ik was onzeker vanwege mijn gebrekkige Engels, maar ik werd vriendelijk en beleefd geholpen bij het inchecken, de huishouding en het uitchecken. De locatie is uitstekend, op 10-20 minuten lopen van Disneyland, maar door mijn gebrek aan conditie vond ik het, vooral op de terugweg als ik moe was, toch zwaar om te lopen. De omgeving van de accommodatie is veilig, vooral 's nachts, omdat je dan met andere parkbezoekers in dezelfde richting loopt, wat een geruststellend gevoel geeft als je als vrouw alleen loopt. De kamer was schoon en comfortabel. Tandenborstels, pyjama's en slippers zijn niet aanwezig, dus het is aan te raden deze zelf mee te nemen. De huishouding komt alleen als je erom vraagt, dus op de tweede dag ben ik persoonlijk naar de receptie gegaan (omdat ik onzeker was over telefonisch contact) om te vragen of de kamer schoongemaakt kon worden. Bij het uitchecken vroeg een medewerker die toevallig buiten stond of ik wilde uitchecken, en ik hoefde alleen maar de kamersleutel in te leveren; de procedure was meteen afgehandeld! Dat was gemakkelijk en prettig. Hoewel alles nieuw voor me was, heb ik een veilige, comfortabele en betaalbare tijd gehad. Ik zou hier graag nog eens verblijven!

The accommodation was a bit too expensive for Japanese guests, so we could only stay for one night, but the room was excellent. It even had a bathtub, which was very relaxing. I accidentally left my room key inside the room and was in a bit of a predicament, but the staff at the lobby kindly assisted me with the process. Plus, we had direct access to both Disneyland parks.

I stayed for two nights and wanted housekeeping to clean the room, but when I returned after 4 PM, it still hadn't been cleaned. It seemed like they were just a couple of doors down, and I would have appreciated at least a towel exchange, but that didn't happen either. Since there were two of each, I managed, but there was no complimentary water service, so I started to think a better hotel might have been preferable. However, the location is good; I could walk back alone even past midnight, so perhaps it's a trade-off. If it were further away, walking alone might be risky, but because it's close, there were many people walking around even late at night, so it felt safe. It's a bit old, but the cleaning is thorough. It would have been helpful if they had told me the room was in the other building, as I got very lost at first.
