It was a very pleasant experience. I booked an early morning kimono fitting, and Klook happened to have a special deluxe package on sale (30% off). This included choosing the best yukata, three accessories, and a two-star hairstyle. As someone who struggles with choices, the staff worked hard to give me suggestions, and the resulting outfit was indeed luxurious and cute. It's quite different from wearing a standard yukata, so I recommend everyone try the deluxe package for a more special experience.

The instructor was very patient, especially when guiding us through the wagashi making process. Thank you also for reminding me of the artistic value of nerikiri and green tea – two types of treats I usually enjoy eating and drinking. I typically only know how to taste them, but here I learned to create every detail of the nerikiri. Additionally, the instructor spoke English very well; some idioms were still a bit unclear, but that was not an issue. Japanese was followed by an English translation when there were both Japanese and foreign participants.

Although the kimono rental shop was very crowded, causing a delay in our photo shoot, Mr. Abe, who helped with the photography, was incredibly kind and professional. He still managed to capture beautiful photos within the limited time we had. We also chatted for quite a while during the session. We really hope to have Mr. Abe take our photos again on our next visit to Sendai!

Imádom a JR Pass kényelmét, mivel a Shinkansen segítségével minden érdekes helyet összeköt. This convenient ticket allows you to use the Shinkansen for intercity travel to Tohoku and Hokkaido during its validity period. However, most Tohoku Shinkansen trains have reserved seating only. If your trip coincides with a Japanese holiday, reserved seats might be fully booked if you wait until you arrive in Japan to make reservations. We recommend reserving your seats in advance on the JR East website, then picking up your reserved seat tickets when you exchange your JR Pass.

The "Free Hong Kong Mail" for the voucher was delivered by SF Express. I placed the order today (Monday) and received it the next day (Tuesday), which is extremely efficient.
The last time I visited Hokkaido via Sapporo Airport, I deliberately skipped Hakodate because taking the Hokkaido Shinkansen from Shin-Aomori Station to Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto Station, then transferring to the JR Hakodate Main Line to Hakodate Station, only takes about 1.5 hours. This is much more convenient than the over 3.5-hour journey from Sapporo to Hakodate.
For a relaxed trip for middle-aged travelers, the route Sendai - Aomori - Hakodate - Hachinohe - Sendai, using a JR Pass to reserve seats for free at the designated seat ticket machines, allows you to enjoy leisurely times and various delicious foods. It's very cost-effective and worthwhile.

This bus stop is outside the East Exit of Sendai Station; I almost went the wrong way. The seats are small, just barely enough, and there are no curtains. The pictures show the bus stop and the waiting area. The exact location is a few hundred meters past the East Exit.

We joined the tour departing from Tokyo Station on Friday. Our guide wisely arranged for us to visit Zao's "snow monsters" first, avoiding the weekend crowds. We were also fortunate to have decent weather with some sunshine, allowing us to photograph the snow monsters before they completely melted. On the second day, Ginzan Onsen wasn't as beautiful as much of the snow had melted. However, the weather was excellent when we visited the Fox Village!
