The self check in process was a nightmare and took a very long time. The check in ipad internet connection was terrible and kept dropping out. Very frustrating. it took us nearly 1 hr to check in. it was not great especially after a long flight and train ride to Nikko. The accommodation itself was nice and has great facilities.
