I had a very pleasant stay and overall love staying at SkyCity Hotel. I plan to go back. I like the hotel environment is fairly peaceful, and in the room everything looks crisp, clean, tidy, uncluttered, modern and attractive without trying too hard, it just all works. The room facilities worked and just enough for my needs. This is the second time Í came for a city stay. I love the showers most of all! (Great water pressure and layout and nice toiletries.) I appreciate the staff finding a solution making it more pleasant for me after a bathroom fan got unusually loud, keeping me awake one nigh, so they offered to switch rooms which solved the problem. Thanks. The location is central easy to look around the CBD or connect to different tourist sites. I went up Skytower and enjoyed the top deck. I got a great deal through Klook site. Cheaper than the hotel site rate. By spending $40 at Skycity stores/etc, gets you free parking for your whole stay.

It was clean, spacious enough for two people, and the kitchen facilities were very clean. However, the daily parking fee of $50 felt a bit expensive, but overall, I was satisfied.

Great location with Skycity across the road, numerous dining options within the hotel and around. I didn’t feel like we got the five star experience from the staff though. We weren’t welcomed by the concierge when we arrived and weren’t greeted as we walked past them each day. The room was spacious and laid out well. lighting was good too.

We had a great stay. Fast check in. The room was very clean, which we really appreciated—it made the whole experience feel comfortable and relaxing. We also loved the convenience of the free shuttle to and from the airport, which made traveling so much easier. We had breakfast during our stay, and the food was good. Overall, everything met our expectations, and we would definitely book again!

J'ai séjourné 3 jours et 2 nuits à l'Ibis Budget Auckland et dans l'ensemble, ce fut un très bon séjour et un excellent rapport qualité-prix. L'emplacement est excellent – très central et proche de nombreuses attractions, restaurants et boutiques, ce qui a rendu l'exploration de la ville très pratique. La réceptionniste qui m'a assisté à mon arrivée tard le soir de mon premier jour a été très serviable et accueillante, ce que j'ai vraiment apprécié après un long voyage. La chambre elle-même était propre et avait tout ce dont j'avais besoin pour un court séjour. Il y avait juste une légère odeur de moisi dans la chambre, mais c'était gérable. J'ai également apprécié que l'hôtel ait pu garder mes bagages après le départ, car ma visite s'est terminée beaucoup plus tard dans la journée. Cela a rendu les choses très pratiques. Dans l'ensemble, compte tenu du prix et de l'excellent emplacement, ce fut tout de même une très bonne expérience et un choix pratique pour séjourner à Auckland. 👍

I stayed here for 2 nights before and thought it was good. So, after finishing a 2-day local tour, I decided to stay again. However, this time there were two issues. 1. On two separate days, I returned to the hotel at 5 PM and my room still hadn't been cleaned. I had to call housekeeping myself to have staff take care of it. 2. The lobby restroom had no hand soap. On a positive note, one evening there was a fire alarm, and afterward, the hotel left a letter at the room door to explain the situation, which was very well handled. The hotel also has a shuttle bus to town, which is a definite plus. The breakfast is delicious and a must-try.

Gracia, is very polite and helpful to us during check in and check out time. :) She even ask the manager for the room upgrade, and it's a YES! we got a room upgrade for our 2-day stay 🥹💗 The room is clean, the hotel has cafe and resto. The place is near the sky city tower, supermarket, food stall and bus stop. Definitely, we will book again with them💗

Casual spot close to airport. 7 paintings dinner projector screen concept was clever, but food portions were small & noticed the same offerings on Lunar menu for better value. Staff were so nice! Wifi was a bit spotty in room but worked well outside on the deck area. very good bathtub/shower! hotel location: close to airport cleanliness: okay. stay one or two nights will be best & good spot for a day-use transition.
