⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Lovely Birthday Stay at The Grand by SkyCity We had a wonderful stay at The Grand by SkyCity while celebrating my friend’s birthday! From check-in, the service was warm, friendly, and professional. Our room was spacious, beautifully presented, clean, and very comfortable, with a lovely Auckland city view. A special thank you to the team for the thoughtful complimentary birthday chocolate for my friend. 🍫🎂 It was such a sweet surprise and made her celebration even more memorable! The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Auckland CBD and connected to the SkyCity complex, with restaurants, entertainment, and the Sky Tower just steps away. We also enjoyed the heated indoor pool, spa, and sauna. Everything was clean and well maintained. Overall, a wonderful combination of comfort, luxury, convenience, and excellent service. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend The Grand by SkyCity for a special occasion or Auckland getaway! ❤️✨

I had a very pleasant stay and overall love staying at SkyCity Hotel. I plan to go back. I like the hotel environment is fairly peaceful, and in the room everything looks crisp, clean, tidy, uncluttered, modern and attractive without trying too hard, it just all works. The room facilities worked and just enough for my needs. This is the second time Í came for a city stay. I love the showers most of all! (Great water pressure and layout and nice toiletries.) I appreciate the staff finding a solution making it more pleasant for me after a bathroom fan got unusually loud, keeping me awake one nigh, so they offered to switch rooms which solved the problem. Thanks. The location is central easy to look around the CBD or connect to different tourist sites. I went up Skytower and enjoyed the top deck. I got a great deal through Klook site. Cheaper than the hotel site rate. By spending $40 at Skycity stores/etc, gets you free parking for your whole stay.

Gracia, is very polite and helpful to us during check in and check out time. :) She even ask the manager for the room upgrade, and it's a YES! we got a room upgrade for our 2-day stay 🥹💗 The room is clean, the hotel has cafe and resto. The place is near the sky city tower, supermarket, food stall and bus stop. Definitely, we will book again with them💗

I stayed here for 2 nights before and thought it was good. So, after finishing a 2-day local tour, I decided to stay again. However, this time there were two issues. 1. On two separate days, I returned to the hotel at 5 PM and my room still hadn't been cleaned. I had to call housekeeping myself to have staff take care of it. 2. The lobby restroom had no hand soap. On a positive note, one evening there was a fire alarm, and afterward, the hotel left a letter at the room door to explain the situation, which was very well handled. The hotel also has a shuttle bus to town, which is a definite plus. The breakfast is delicious and a must-try.

Smooth check in as I arrived late just before midnight . Rooms was cleaned and kitchen was in perfect condition , clean & utensils were adequate . Free laundry was at 1st floor , which I find it a bit inconvenience to go there from 5th floor . Some bigger rooms had laundry inside the rooms . Breakfast were delicious , everyday the same types of food though . Thank you for wonderful stay

This hotel is absolutely perfect! It has a kitchen where you can cook your own meals (including an oven and microwave), and it's fully stocked with all sorts of utensils. The best part is that it even has a washer and dryer! As a first-time traveler to New Zealand, staying here means I can pack a lot less clothing. It's also the first time in my life I've stayed in such a well-equipped hotel! The room is spacious, and the view is fantastic.

We had a great stay. Fast check in. The room was very clean, which we really appreciated—it made the whole experience feel comfortable and relaxing. We also loved the convenience of the free shuttle to and from the airport, which made traveling so much easier. We had breakfast during our stay, and the food was good. Overall, everything met our expectations, and we would definitely book again!

Upon arriving, I was advised there was a 100 dollar bond, thats fine...for what I am not sure. there were chips out of all of furniture, paint peeling off the walls and a random square of carpet cut out then shoved back in? It makes the appearance of being up market without actually hitting the mark. The bathroom had a layer of grime around the top as well. I think it needs major renovations probably needed.
