Seoul Day trips

We really enjoyed our DMZ tour with Sadie. She was friendly, knowledgeable and very easy to listen to, and gave us plenty of interesting background and stories throughout the day. The Third Infiltration Tunnel and Dora Observatory were definitely highlights, especially being able to look across into North Korea. We also really enjoyed the talk with the North Korean defector and hearing about her experiences firsthand. Sadie explained what to expect at each stop and made sure everyone was looked after without making the day feel rushed. It was a fascinating experience and we came away understanding much more about the DMZ and Korean history. We were very happy to have Sadie as our guide!

The railbike experience was absolutely amazing! The beautiful scenery was so relaxing, and the themed tunnels were fantastic, each with its own unique atmosphere. I really enjoyed the combination of nature, sightseeing, and riding the railbike. The alpaca experience was another highlight—I loved interacting with and feeding the animals, and collecting stamps while exploring made it even more fun and memorable. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, especially getting to share it with other travelers. The restaurant food was also really good, and everything made the trip truly memorable. A special mention to our tour guide, who was very responsive, approachable, and attentive. He explained everything clearly and was very understanding and caring toward the tourists. There were times when we got separated or lost, but he always made the effort to find us and make sure we were okay. His patience and care made the whole experience even better! Highly recommended! ❤️✨

Our trip to the DMZ in South Korea was an unforgettable experience, rich in history and insight. Our guide, "Happy Sam," was absolutely amazing. He was incredibly knowledgeable and provided detailed explanations throughout the day. Sam’s kindness truly stood out. When my daughter became frightened halfway across the suspension bridge, he patiently encouraged her, held her hand, and walked with her both ways. He was consistently attentive, checking in on everyone in our group throughout the day. He even ensured we were all settled at lunch before taking a moment for himself, and he thoughtfully provided chocolates to boost our energy after all the walking. Sam is an amazing soul who turned our tour into a beautiful experience we will carry in our hearts forever. Highly recommended!

My friends and I loved the tour to Alpaca World, Railway park, and Nami Island. JESSE was the most kind and attentive chingu/tour guide! He looked after everyone and his instructions were very clear and patient with everyone. If I come back to Seoul I hope we can tour with him next time too. 10/10 service Jesse! I appreciate the stickers you gave me and my friends. we will remember this day as we put them into our creative journals. The alpacas were so cute and funny. The railway park was beautiful. A trip to DMZ is a must when visiting South Korea. The places and the experience will make you know more about South Korea and its history. Booking the trip with our guide Yohan even made our journey more exciting and memorable. The information he shared with enthusiasm and humour made every stop memorable.

An eye-opening and unforgettable experience! We booked a DMZ tour, and it exceeded all our expectations. Thomas was fantastic from the start. He had a deep knowledge of Korean history, explaining the ongoing conflict clearly. I hope one day his wish will come true no more North and South Korea only Korea The itinerary was well-paced. We visited the Gamaksan Suspension Bridge first, which involved about 20 minutes of an uphill walk because we have senior citizens in our group. Then we headed to Imjingak Tourist Information Center and explored Imjingak before heading to the Third Infiltration Tunnel. The walk down the Third Tunnel is very steep and the ceilings are low. The highlight was looking through the high-powered binoculars at the Dora Observatory to see North Korea's propaganda village. And we saw some citizens walking there through binoculars Tips: Bring your passport because the military checkpoints check IDs. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Bring your water and snacks

Definitely my favourite day of our 2 weeks in Korea! We had the loveliest Tour guide named Allen Kim! He picked us up at an easy location to navigate! He then explained everything we were doing in English! As we were waiting for a couple of others to arrive he let us go into the convenience store to grab a quick drink/snack. Alpaca world was the best! 🥹 It was such an experience watching them run down the hill to us! We then went to see lots of other different animals! Highly recommend going to see the little budgies and feeding them! The rail bike was incredible! Our tour guide made sure we got onto the correct bikes and explained where we would meet afterwards! Of course Nami island was incredible we chose to do the zip line! My group was quite scared of heights but said the zip line was actually really fun and not as scary as they thought it would be!

Had such a lovely experience at Hwadamsup 🌸 and Strawberry Picking 🍓 ✨ It was a bit tiring walking up the hill at Hwadamsup, but the beautiful flowers and peaceful surroundings made it all worth it — truly the highlight of the trip. We walked up to enjoy the stunning views, then took the cable car back down just for the experience 🚡 My son was so happy picking strawberries too 🍓🥰 A big thank you to our tour guide Alvin — he’s bilingual and speaks Chinese, English, and Korean so well! He was very informative and made the whole tour even more enjoyable. Also, a shoutout to our friendly driver, thank you for your warmth and making my son smile with a sweet little gift 🫰 Highly recommend this trip to anyone planning to visit Seoul 🇰🇷💖

The tour was extremely smooth and interesting where each site was memorable. We even had the chance to eat delicious soybean ice cream at the reunification village. Hana was a warm, friendly and engaging tour guide, who was always ready to answer our questions and share informative tidbits about the sights. She even spotted someone cycling at the North Korean farms and pointed them out to us at the Dora Observatory! However please note that the route to the suspension bridge and the journey back up from the 3rd tunnel are quite steep, and may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. Overall, a day well spent in Paju and the DMZ, would definitely recommend!
