Naejangsan National Park Autumn Foliage Day Tour from Seoul / Busan

i booked this tour at the very last minute (2days before actual date of activity), as my other tour which i booked was not gng to proceed. The k-story tour guide mr han, contacted me 2 day before the tour to confirm the pick up point and time. The bus was there right outside myeongdong station exit 2. there were many people on the trip, mr han is trilingual in korean, english and chinese and explained the two routes for the naejangsan to us in English and chinese. i chose the intermediate hike, which at certain parts had upslopes and downslopes and rocky terrain , but the sight of autumn foilage and the hermitage and temple and pavilion was definitely beautiful. mr han went with the first group which went on the easy route and later caught up with rest of the group on the intermediately difficult route and checked in on us and took beautiful photos of us. We met at a korean restaurant outside the naejangsan park and we had to pay for the bibimbap lunch which was okay. overall good trip

Our tour in Naejangsan with Tino was incredible. He was fun, attentive, and always made sure his passengers’ needs were taken care of. He clearly explained all the instructions—where to get on and off, where to line up for the shuttle bus, and everything we needed to know to enjoy the trip. Overall, he was truly excellent. Found out on 11/15 that the 11/16 Hetanlin trip was canceled, and immediately signed up for the 11/16 Naejangsan maple viewing trip. So lucky there were still spots available! Naejangsan is far, about 4 hours away, but it's worth it. Super beautiful, definitely worth the trip. The autumn leaves were at their peak. Our guide, Kevin, was super dedicated, explaining the itinerary in detail, and answering questions carefully. He was also very patient with the baby on the bus. The driver's skills were very steady as well. Thank you! Highly recommended!

Our family trip to Naejangsan during peak autumn was truly unforgettable. We absolutely loved the vibrant baby maple leaves, and walking along the famous Maple Tree Road felt like stepping into a painting. The colors were breathtaking, and every corner looked picture-perfect. One of the highlights was the stunning Uhwajeong Pavilion by the lake. The reflection of the red and golden maple trees on the calm water created a magical view — it honestly felt surreal. We left Naejangsan feeling fully satisfied and grateful for such a beautiful autumn experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Korea in fall

Guide was Yoona. She makes sure all of us understands and knows how to go back to the bus parking. She also provided some guidance on the best way to maximize our time in the mountain. Naejangsan itself is beautiful. Autumn colors are the best. Travel time was close to 8hrs, for me, quite worth the travel, however, would probably be better if I stayed in Gwangju area and go to Naejangsan. This way, the mountain can be explored / hiked more.

I had this tour with Tino. Such a lovely energy and lots of good tips on how to enjoy my time in Naejangsan. Fromt he restaurant booking to the shuttle bus and what to do and how best to enjoy it. Definitely worth the trip. Just comfortable and he made sure we are safe. Naejangsan is a beautiful mountain on fall peak season. I enjoyed my whole time wandering around Naejangsan Park, temple and observatory!

it’s a fascinating tour for the autumn foliage in Korea, the scene at Naejangsan is simply amazing. Thanks also to our guide Brian Park who has been very understanding and patience.

We had an amazing time! The tour guide was very kind and accommodating. She handled situations well and assisted us in all our needs. Instead of a bus, it was a coaster bus making the experience feel more premium. The drive was smooth and fairly fast, kudos to the driver. And the highlight was the view! While the weather was extra chilly and breezy, the temple and autumn leaves made it worth it. The tour itself gives you heaps of free time to personally enjoy the scenery. Overall an amazing experience. Definitely a must try!

I had a great experience exploring the park and seeing the beautiful maple trees. Our tour guide, Mr. Han, was excellent—he contacted us in advance via WhatsApp, kept everyone updated with clear instructions, and answered all our questions. He was always on time and provided helpful information at every spot in both English and Chinese. Highly recommended for future travelers!

Thank you to the tour guide for the arrangements. Came to pilgrimage to the autumn foliage mecca. Currently, the shuttle bus route and the maple tunnel are almost completely red, super beautiful, and it's very suitable to leave some time to walk down the mountain on the return trip instead of taking the shuttle. After getting off the bus for lunch today, take a one-way shuttle, you can get a map at the visitor center entrance. Because there are many people waiting in line for the cable car, we walked directly through the maple tunnel - Naejang Temple - and took the trail to Yeonzadae (a bit steep) at about 1:10 pm - round trip to the mountaintop cable car station - and then down the mountain to Uhwa Pavilion - and then back to the meeting point. We just happened to visit all the attractions we wanted to go to.
