🌄 Our day trip to Seoraksan was absolutely amazing and very informative! Ruby/Yunjoo guided us perfectly throughout the trip — she helped plan an efficient and enjoyable itinerary, recommending the best spots to visit in Seoraksan National Park. After exploring the beautiful mountain, we continued to Sokcho Market, where Ruby suggested delicious local foods for us to try. She even accompanied us to the main street. After that we headed to our last stop, Sokcho Beach. The weather and the view were just perfect, and Ruby kindly helped us take beautiful photos to remember the day. As a tourist unfamiliar with Korea, I was really grateful for Ruby’s help. She not only guided us throughout the trip but also shared many great local recommendations — from food and souvenirs to cosmetic shops and hidden gems. Thank you so much, Ruby, for your kindness, knowledge, and hospitality! You truly made our trip unforgettable. 💕
Joining this tour was a great experience — the itinerary was well-planned and rich, and both of the attractions were amazing. The tour guide provided detailed and responsible explanations, and he also drove smoothly. A genuine five-star recommendation!
It was a very happy day. The tour guide SEAN was very nice and friendly. He was very responsible in doing everything and recommended what delicious food we could eat. Our English was not very good, and SEAN would use a translator to pass on important information to us every time he finished speaking, making us feel relaxed and without language barriers. The entire tour schedule was also very well arranged, and the itinerary was rich. I highly recommend it to everyone!
The scenery along the hiking trail in Seoraksan is breathtaking. That's too bad cable car service was suspended due to strong wind but we got refunded. Really enjoyed the trip and will come again next time.
its a must to do tour during autumn season, we only had small group which really worked for us. Tom was so helpful and can definitely assited us in the best way he can. The wake up time might be too early (0400) but definitely can sleep on your way to Mt Seoraksan. When we went to the mountain very few tourist and mostly locals visited the mountain. the cable car is a must too if you dont want to hike for 2 hrs! and the view from the top is also superb. you also get the check the Sokcho Beach, lunch in the Sokcho market and to end the tour was sightseeing of the whole Seoraksan ranges. highly recommended this tour.
I had such a fantastic time on this tour and highly recommend it. David was an excellent guide and brought wonderful fun energy and interesting information the whole day. the early morning is worth it for the time you get to spend at the mountain and to experience not feeling too many people around as you walk. the group were full of lovely people. Not many tours from Seoul ensure you have enough time at the mountain and we had 5 hours, enough for two hikes depending on your pace. I walked routes 3 and part of 4; stunningly beautiful views, wonderful autumnal colours, friendly people and I also had points of walking when no one was on the path. The market was great fun and full of delicious things to eat and see. if you are vegetarian, gimbap is an easy and delicious option and the place I went to gave me onion soup as well. Thank you for a wonderful experience!!
We had a lot of fun in this tour despite missing the peak of the autumn foliage in Naejangsan National Park. The place is still beautiful even though a lot of the trees were already bare. So it’s better to book it on an earlier date as the date that matched our trip was already the last day it’s available. I really loved Jeonju Hanok Village too. As someone who’s not much of a hiking type, I enjoyed our time in the village more. Eating Jeonju Bibimbap as recommended by our tour guide was also a highlight. Overall, I definitely recommend this tour. Ki, our tour guide was also very approachable and friendly, which I think made the tour even more fun. He gave good recommendations throughout the tour.
Went to Naejangsan National Park on 6 Nov. Though it was raining when we arrived, we were still able to view the beautiful fall foliage at Naejangsan. Our tour guide, Roy advised us to take shuttle bus (1000 krw) up to the temple and hike down instead of taking cable car up as the autumn foliage higher up at already fallen. At Hanok Village, Roy was very helpful to recommend us the food that we can try. Though the travelling time to the Naejangsan took more than 3 hours and we were picked up at 4.50 am, it was very worthwhile as able to enjoy beautiful fall foliage!
Went on 1 Nov, unfortunately it’s not peak autumn yet so the leaves are still more green, should have go on few days later. So, choose your date carefully. But still the view is beautiful. Our tour guide, Roy is proactive in making sure we reach the mountain early in morning, so no need to queue to take bus to the mountain and less people. There is walking path that are more flat for easy walking but we got confused so we hike at first but still worth it as we can see beautiful view while hiking. But it’s really tiring😅 Then we go to Hanok village, Roy are helpful in recommending the food that we can try. Recommended to try to squid here, it tasted so good😃 The journey to go back and forth is quite long (around four hours) so make sure you are okay to go on long journey.
Went on 3 Nov and the fall foliage at Naejangsan was beautiful (though our guide told us that peak foliage was expected to be on 8 Nov). We were picked up at Hongik Univ station at 4.20am, reached Naejangsan at 8am and had till 11.20am to explore. Our guide Roy advised us to take the shuttle bus (1,000krw) up to the temple then hike down, instead of taking the cable car up to the peak as the autumn foliage higher up had already fallen. Afterwards, we took ~1h to reach Jeonju Hanok Village, where our guide recommended a bibimbap place to eat. We then spent the rest of our time there chilling at the cafe Jeonmang, which overlooks the hanok village. Overall, we had a really long day but it was worth it both of the places are really far from Seoul and it would have been a hassle to go there by public transportation.
