Things to do in Mainland China

You don't need to rush at opening to ride everything and take plenty of photos! In fact, rushing at opening might have left us too tired. We woke up leisurely, had brunch, explored a bit, and then arrived at Disney at 1 PM. We immediately went to Zootopia to take photos and look around, and rode everything that had a short line. The Pirates of the Caribbean ride is truly impressive in scale, and Tron is even prettier at night, so I recommend riding it then! If you go at night, you might have to wait 75 minutes, but the Express Pass is amazing... we rode it in about 15 minutes. We took tons of photos, rode about 7 attractions, and enjoyed the fireworks before heading home! Oh, and I recommend taking motion sickness medication beforehand, haha.

The theme park is huge with 7 zones! Walking from point to point takes time and requires planning to catch the respective shows. The Untrainable show featuring how to train a dragon and Waterworld are the most impressive. Queue times vary between 10 to 90 minutes. During this period, there are halloween inspired attractions that starts in the evening and a night outdoor performance.

Peter was our guide. His explanation was very clear and informative and allowed us to understand a significant part of China's history. His good storytelling skills made it a lot more exciting too! I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting for the first time.

I played in the snow fun zone for two hours. Clothing, helmet, and shoes were included. There were no unpleasant odors, but there were definitely signs of previous use. Luckily, there was no line, so I played to my heart's content. The snow was incredibly cold; you definitely need to bring your own gloves if you want to build a snowman. If you have young children, adults should learn how to use the facilities first and then clearly explain to the children how to play. It seemed that adults were not allowed to accompany children on the snow slides, as I didn't see any when I was there. I had a minor accident while learning to use the facilities, hitting my head on the ground. The helmet's protective capability felt insufficient for me; it hurt, but I didn't immediately feel dizzy.

was a great day, our guide was super helpful and made good suggestions on what to do first so we don’t have to wait in lines ect, the tabbogan was soooo much fun, it was super crowded and very busy but still definitely worth going, lunch buffet was actually really nice but there are restaurants if you wanted to get your own lunch

The facilities are excellent, with several restaurant options that are also reasonably priced. There are items for sale within the park, so you can easily purchase anything you might have forgotten. Since payment requires a phone, a waterproof pouch is essential. Many attractions require a group of four, so it's best to visit with three friends. Some attractions have wait times exceeding 30 minutes, and phones are not allowed. If you use the 30-minute free lockers, you'll likely end up paying for them.

The purchasing and admission process is so easy. We purchased the morning 8am-12pm session, part of our family entered the park at 10:30am with no wait and the other members entered at 12:30pm without issues also although website says to enter within specified time slot. All we needed was to scan our QR code, the staff did not check our passport. We took our time browsing the buildings and spent nearly 4 hours there. There was lots to see, the area is huge with lots of Greenspan, our legs had a workout but it was easy to walk. Lots of visitors at the park during the summer break but didn't feel crowded like the Forbidden City/Great Wall. Pricing on Klook is always the cheapest, we are very satisfied with the booking process overall.

Tianmen mountain had some amazing views, the red route had the better views, but is definitely worth a full loop covering both the red and yellow routes. For anyone else going it’s worth waiting till 19:00 when the mountain lights up, the lights go through a cycle before finishing with a rainbow of lights at 20:00, unfortunately didn’t stay for the full light show due to rain. For ease, I would recommend staying near the cable car

must see in shanghai as the colorful night skyline of city hi rises are amazing and beautiful! klook made it so easy to book at great price, i think either the same or slightly less than buying tickets directly at the pier.

I had a really great time! I booked the Starry Night ticket, which included a drink and a game where I won a souvenir! The park isn't very big, but it's very pretty, and the atmosphere is magical!

Visiting Yu Garden was such a beautiful experience — the traditional architecture, peaceful gardens, and vibrant atmosphere made it truly memorable. Our guide, Julian, was knowledgeable, friendly, and very attentive throughout the tour. He explained the history and culture in an engaging way while making sure we are comfortable and enjoying the experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Shanghai!
