hotel location: it is always the best option before the early flights.
cleanliness: though the facilities were old, they were well kept
service: this time I had to queue for a while due to many arrival guests. staff was efficient.

Staying at the Gold Coast Hotel this time was a complete escape into a resort vibe, far away from the hustle and bustle! The hotel lobby is spacious and grand. Since it was the Halloween season, adorable giant inflatable pumpkins and exquisite pumpkin lanterns could be seen everywhere, creating a strong festive atmosphere. The room was clean and comfortable, but the biggest surprise was the view from the balcony—stepping outside revealed an unbeatable ocean view, blue skies and white clouds, and swaying palm trees. Sitting on the balcony, feeling the sea breeze, and zoning out allowed my body and mind to achieve ultimate relaxation. It was a truly perfect staycation experience!

This hotel is highly recommended. It's easy to find, located on the 9th floor after transferring from the 3rd floor of the mall. Check-in was convenient. Our room faced the sea, and we could see planes taking off and landing, cable cars, the Airport Express train, helicopters, speedboats, and buses. It's amazing to see so many modes of transportation from one hotel window! The hotel has a lot of wood and is designed with a Japanese feel. The pool also has a heated section, which is great! Special requests were also accommodated. The breakfast wasn't extensive, but it was sufficient. This is a unique hotel that's definitely worth recommending.

Thank you for hosting us for a one-night stay from October 17th to the 18th. We were told that a twin room was available for immediate check-in, so we were able to get into our room at 7:00 AM! There was a bit of dust in a few places, but since we were just sleeping there and the plumbing and bed area were clean, it was more than enough for us. In the hallway, there was a water dispenser built into the wall where we could fill up the bottle provided in the room. There were three types of shuttle buses: round trips to the airport, round trips to Tung Chung Station, and one-way trips to Hong Kong Disneyland available only during the 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM hours. (The shuttle schedule is posted on their website.) The shuttle bus was extremely convenient! If I have the opportunity next time, I would definitely like to stay at this hotel again.

The front desk service was polite and friendly 🥰, and I received a cake voucher for my birthday. The room was tidy and clean, with an excellent, open view that was very relaxing. 🥳 Even though it was a red and black rainstorm for two days and the pool was closed, it didn't stop me from enjoying my birthday vacation in the room. For the birthday mini cake voucher, there were several 🍮 options, including chocolate, which was great! ❤️ This time, I brought birthday streamers and flowers to celebrate, and it was perfect! Regarding transportation: There are shuttle services to and from Tung Chung, Sunny Bay, Disneyland, and West Kowloon Station. (The hotel website shows the schedule.) Food/Supplies: Right next to the hotel, there's a fairly large Marketplace (with flowers for sale), a small IKEA, a small Mannings, plus a 7-Eleven, a bar, and several small restaurants. A bus ride of about 10 minutes takes you to a larger shopping mall at the other end of the pier, which has Taiwanese noodles, pizza, Western restaurants and bars, ParknShop, a florist, Japan Home, and other small shops.

The room was immaculate—spotlessly clean, beautifully arranged, and incredibly comfortable. It provided the ultimate relaxing environment after a long day of exploring. Every detail throughout the property was well-maintained, creating a welcoming and high-end atmosphere.
Everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations. The combination of wonderful people, top-tier service, and pristine facilities made our visit unforgettable. The ocean view was very beautiful, and when I twisted my ankle while out, the front desk even helped bring up some ice. There is also a free beverage bar, it's clean and tidy, the breakfast was delicious, and there is a shuttle bus that goes directly to Tung Chung to take the cable car, as well as airport pick-up and drop-off service. If I visit Hong Kong again in the future, I would definitely want to stay here.
