Puffing Billy Railway tours

I had a wonderful experience with the Puffing Billy Steam Railway and Phillip Island tour! The communication was very thoughtful — they sent reminders not only by email but also via WhatsApp, which made everything smooth and clear. Our tour guide was fantastic: humorous, engaging, and full of interesting stories about the places we visited. He made sure we were safe and on time at each stop, and his friendly attitude made the whole day even more enjoyable. The tour was well-organized, relaxed, and fun from beginning to end. I also really liked the group atmosphere — everyone was friendly and respectful, which made the trip even better. This tour added so much joy to my time in Melbourne and gave me some truly unforgettable memories. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. A great mix of beautiful sights, smooth logistics, and warm service. Would definitely join again!

Not my first time, but I still loved the Puffing Billy ride. Lorraine was always making sure we got great value out of the tour, like arriving at Phillip Island early to get the best spot, and taking the better route to let us see the wildlife. Totally recommended. The only minor improvement would be the wait time. The whole bus was waiting for another traveler for more than 15 minutes during pickup. It would have been better if a waiting time limit was set for that, to not waste the precious time of other travelers who arrived on time.

this trip is sooo good!!! Lily was our guide, and she was paitient and controlled the time of transition very well. she told us the accurate time of coming back to the bus so that we all can follow. And on the way of Philip Island, she reminded us to look at the wildlife, such as wallaby and local geese. Love this trip!

This was the most anticipated trip to Melbourne. It was really unforgettable. We were waiting for the shuttle bus at the Regent Theatre at 8:25 in the morning. Fortunately, we received an email notifying us that there would be a purple bus and a tour guide. Alan was very kind, gentle, humorous, considerate and nice. He made our group of nearly 20 tourists have a lot of fun. All the contents of the itinerary were covered, just in a different order. The weather was sunny and the temperature was comfortable in mid-April, and there was a slight breeze when we took the train. In the morning, we went to the zoo first and saw cute koalas 🐨 and Australian kangaroos 🦘➡️. Then we stopped at the forest trail to breathe in phytoncides and see giant trees. We could go to the toilet and stayed for about 15 minutes. ➡️Take the steam train for about 1 hour at 2:00 pm. The scenery along the way is beautiful and refreshing. The whole trip ended at about 4:00. We took the bus back to the city and met friends from all over the world. I highly recommend this trip👍

our tour Guide David was great! he gave lots of information not only about the place we are going to but also about Melbourne itself. He also helped me and parents take a good photo so that was a plus! the train is must try even for one, you’ll also get to enjoy waving with the locals as they are all so friendly! the sanctuary was also enjoyable since it was a first for us to see koalas☺️

The entire trip was rich throughout the day, starting with a trip to the famous Rainbow Cottages, where you could not stop taking pictures with these houses. Then head to Vineyard Winery where you can decide for yourself whether to taste the wines for AU 15-25 and head out to Hillsville Wildlife Refuge where you can see kangaroos, koalas, which is really cool. Finally off to the most anticipated Melbourne steam train, which can sit for an hour with your feet & hands exposed outside the train, it’s really cool and the scenery along the way is beautiful. The guide was friendly and explained clearly. The train is really a must and is a good experience

Had an amazing time and Jules, ben 1 & 2 were so helpful, easy going and great with photo taking. Entertaining the whole group throughout the journey and sang along in the van. One of the best guides I've met. Thank yuu for the memorable tour.

It was a great trip with Mr. Ma, our chaperone, tour guide, and driver. Mr. Ma was polite, humorous, and friendly with kids (we had three kids among two families), and he had answers to all the questions from us, the first-time visitors of Melbourne. The ride was smooth, and we were provided with so much knowledge about each and every destination. We were also left with enough time to browse around (and some souvenir shopping) between the stops. It was an absolutely unforgettable trip, and I would definitely recommend booking with Klook. I especially praise the excellent service from Mr. Ma.
