I had a truly wonderful experience. Since I planned to stay overnight in Shirakawago after the bus tour, I asked in advance whether I could join the tour and disembark there—and the staff responded promptly and positively. On the day of travel, we gathered at Kanazawa Station, which was easy to access and well-organized. Our guide, Aiko, was warm, energetic, and exceptionally hospitable. She spoke fluent English, shared insightful commentary throughout the journey, and was always attentive to the needs of the group.
The bus made a stop at Shirakawago, one of Japan’s celebrated UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The atmosphere and scenery were breathtaking—especially for those with an interest in traditional architecture, cultural heritage, and rural landscapes. It was the perfect blend of thoughtful planning and immersive experience.
