There aren't many seats, but we were able to get seated right away since we arrived just after they opened. The tea set is high-quality, and the hot tea can be refilled. The staff is friendly, and the set meal comes with Korean snacks. I chose the blueberry cheesecake jar and the mochi brownie flavor (forgot the name) with the HSR ticket combo. Both flavors were quite sweet, which paired perfectly with the hot tea. I'd try other desserts if I have the chance.

The shop has a quaint, old-fashioned decor with many antique plaques. The sesame oil noodles with pork rib soup, simmered with Chinese herbs, are quite unique.

The food is pretty good, especially the cooked dishes. The soups are delicious too, and they have alcohol available. However, for an all-you-can-eat experience, the variety of ingredients isn't that extensive.

As always, I added a Bo Ren Tang medicinal cuisine to my high-speed rail ticket purchase. This time, the bak kut teh (pork rib tea) had more meat on the ribs than usual, which made it taste even better. Highly recommended.

A visit to Tainan isn't complete without trying Chou's Shrimp Rolls! They definitely live up to the hype. The outer layer is fried to a crispy, non-greasy perfection, and each bite is packed with fresh shrimp and vegetable filling. You can really taste the sweetness and springiness of the shrimp. The special sweet and spicy sauce is the perfect complement, enhancing the flavor without overpowering it. Besides the signature shrimp rolls, the fried oysters and cuttlefish balls are also highly recommended. They're crispy, fragrant, and full of seafood flavor – you'll want to order another serving! The restaurant is usually crowded, but the food comes out quickly. The environment is also cleaner and more comfortable than expected. This is definitely a classic Tainan snack you have to try!

I only remembered to leave a review after finishing my meal 🤣 It was truly a lavish meal, and the shrimp rolls and fish ball soup were both very tasty!

The only bad thing is the location is very far from tainan main city. But the food there is very good like their seafood and meat but some cook food is not that nice. Their ice cream and dessert is not bad too.
