The overall experience was excellent. I'll definitely be back, and the "Emperor Hotel" in Kaohsiung will always be my top choice. Even though I only spent a short day in Kaohsiung, my stay was delightful. The service attitude, breakfast, and surrounding environment all far exceeded my expectations. Dear friends, this was my first time visiting Kaohsiung, but please allow me to recommend this hotel to you. I'm Yuanyuan from Taipei. I also recommend checking out the souvenirs available at the hotel's entrance. I bought a "Wisdom" stone as a memento and colored it when I got home. The prices are great, and they offer welcome snacks like nachos and ice cream. Afternoon tea includes cookies, which is very convenient for families with children. There's also a self-service laundry and a water dispenser. Although the room is small, it's well-equipped, and a back door was added to reduce noise. Breakfast is delicious and offers a wide variety. It's a great value for the price!

Hotel Location: Near Kaohsiung Main Station! Transportation Convenience: Easily accessible! Service: The tables in the lobby lounge area have several outlets, which is thoughtful for guests to charge their phones! Breakfast: I heard it was good, but we woke up too late and missed it! Cleanliness: Good! However, the hallway had a damp, musty smell! The room was a bit small, and the air conditioning was extremely cold! When using the bathroom sink, the drain made a rather loud noise!

location is very near to everything. if you are too book this hotel align at Ciajin station take exit 4. turn Left after going out from the exit. walk few blocks and you will see the hotel. - there is also a good breakfast nook. along the street

We stayed in a tatami room, which was simple and clean, just like the photos on the website. It was interesting that when we opened the window, it still faced an indoor area. To reach the guest room area, you first take one elevator past the front desk, then another internal elevator, making it quite secluded. The hotel's overall decor is stylish, and the small rooftop pool is beautifully arranged.

I personally feel that the location is close to Qianjin MRT Station. There's Liuhe Night Market nearby, a Dawangong shaved ice shop across the street, a bank across the street, and a FamilyMart convenience store nearby. If you need to buy anything, there's also a Xiaobei Department Store nearby. The rooms are clean and bright. Breakfast is not provided, as there's the famous Xinglongju breakfast shop nearby. There are restrooms in the basement, as well as coin-operated washers and dryers. There's a multi-function coffee machine offering Americano, latte, chocolate, cappuccino, etc., and tea bags are also provided. Each floor has a water dispenser. The hairdryer is very powerful, not the traditional wall-mounted type, which is great. 👍🍀

Overall Review: The room type was exactly as booked. The indoor environment was clean, bright, free of odors, and not damp. The air conditioner was quiet and functioning properly, and the mini-fridge was clean and cold enough. Soundproofing was average. The bathroom was dry and odorless. The only downside was that there were relatively few electrical outlets, which we hope can be improved. Thank you for the hospitality! ❤️

The service is truly beyond reproach. Here are my thoughts after staying here for a business trip... For the first few days, I stayed on the 8th floor. This floor hasn't been renovated yet and feels like traveling back in time through a time tunnel. It's old and dimly lit, but the front desk provided a desk lamp and had it delivered to the room door very quickly. It was barely adequate, and the water pressure was normal with a stable temperature. The space is really large, even the bathroom is huge, but the AC only has high, medium, and low settings. For someone like me who hates the heat, the low setting actually got cold, so I had to turn it off from time to time to be comfortable. On the other hand, the 13th floor has been updated and is very bright, but the water pressure is a bit low and the temperature is unstable—it felt like someone next door was competing for water. The space is still large, the bathroom is big, and it is very bright. However, the hair dryers also matched the old or new condition of the rooms. I hope that next time I visit, regardless of whether it's an old or new room type, appropriate equipment can be provided for use. By the way, the location and room rates here are really great! Watermark Hotel – Kaohsiung Main Station is conveniently located near the train station, making it easy to get around. A 7-Eleven convenience store is also less than a one-minute walk away. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast area was quiet and offered a reasonable variety of food (Muslim friendly too!). Our quadruple room was spacious and comes with two bathrooms, which was very convenient for a family or group. Although there was no minibar, the room had a refrigerator, and complimentary drinking water was provided. Free parking was available just behind the hotel, which was especially convenient for guests travelling by car. Overall, a comfortable and convenient hotel with helpful service, good facilities and an excellent location.
