Hotels near Katsura Imperial Villa

nice hotel and strategic places, very near to Kyoto station only one station and the park view very beautiful

we stayed 3 nights at this hotel and super satisfied for everything they provide. each floor has microwave is a bonus for us and hotel is very stylish and new looking. Most importantly, we had the best breakfast for 3 days during our Japan trip. Highly recommend to everyone.

Overall, I am very satisfied with this hotel, but it is a little far from the city center, but it is not a problem if you have time. The shopping mall downstairs is also relatively quiet, and there are only restaurants available during the period. The hotel gave each person a 1,000 yen coupon to enjoy in the restaurant downstairs.

Very convenient to travel, right opposite Umekōji-Kyōtonishi Station, with a 7-11 next door. There is a walkway connecting the hotel to the Kyoto Central Wholesale Market Observation Area, so you don't miss out on watching the fish auction at Wholesale in the early morning before 6:00 a.m. There are many delicious restaurants near the hotel. The hotel has complete facilities. On the ground floor of the hotel, on the 1st and 2nd floors, there are many restaurants.

We booked three hotels on this trip, and this one has the best CP value (the cheapest but my favorite! It is very close to JR Sanin Main Line "Umekoji Station" (the next station from Kyoto Station). After exiting, you will see stairs/elevators on the right hand side. Just go up and cross the overpass and you will arrive! The counter staff is very professional and friendly. The room is large and clean. There is a nude hot spring, a shopping street restaurant, a 7-11 nearby (a lot of matcha products can be bought to your heart's content), and a railway museum opposite.

It's very close to the subway station, and there are buses that go directly to Arashiyama. There is a 711 and MOS downstairs of the hotel, which is very convenient. There is Netflix on the TV in the room (you need to log in yourself 😂), and there is a public bath ~ Overall it's very good

Amazing space for the price and location. 10-15min walk from Kyoto Station and Toji Temple. Includes laundry facilities inside the building, which was very convenient although in our experience the dryer took a long time to fully dry clothing. While modern, the aesthetic is very cozy and traditional-inspired. Overall a great space to come back to after walking 20k steps a day in Kyoto.
