A lovely hotel with friendly staff and clean public baths! Bedroom had a sink in which was great but the mattress wasn’t particularly thick.

Beautiful hotel, very friendly staff, very close to Kyoto station so getting around to explore is easy. The public shower was very clean and well taken care of. I do wish the shower was open more hours. The coffee and tea reading room was very cosy, well taken care of and clean. The rooms were small but good. Shared bathrooms took a little to get used to but they were close to the room and never busy or dirty.

I loved it here! The room was an amazing size for a solo traveller. The bathrooms/ showers are fantastic and it’s also free to use the washing machines and dryers. The reception and lounge area is lovely. It’s very welcoming. There’s no overflowing smell of smoke too. I had a great time here and would definitely stay again next time I’m in Kyoto.
