Things to do in Nagano

The tour was amazing and I enjoyed every bit of it. There will be a lot of walking but the view is worth it. Our tour guide Pin is great in telling the history, guiding us, nice and very considerate. Thank you for a wonderful tour. 🙂

It was an excellent and fun experience going on the tour. The guides (Dillon and Brett) were very warm and welcoming, always looking out for everyone, making sure that everyone is having an amazing time. This tour satisfies three of Nagano's most characteristic winter attractions in one day, completely eliminating worries about transportation or food. It's very convenient for those who want a carefree trip! Seeing the snow monkeys bathing in the hot springs at Jigokudani Monkey Park is truly unique and worth the trip! Be prepared to walk 40 minutes in the snow to see the monkeys. Note that in the actual itinerary, Zenko-ji Temple is placed at the end (4-5 pm), at which time the temple and shops are preparing to close. If you want to visit, shop, or buy a Goshuin stamp, you will regret missing it. Thanks to our guide, Xiao Feng, for his attentive care and arrangements throughout the day~

If you’re going to pick a seat, don’t pick the seat. There’s a heater underneath and I was very sweaty after the ride. Also, Kyu was nice - 10/10.

Distance between both sites is not short, and having this tour helps a lot for those who may not have a short time in Nagano. Our guide was Shuhei. He was very pleasant and spoke good English, and was patient to accommodate our family in the Snow Monkey Park due to the unexpected heavy snowfall and slippery surface. we were rewarded with a beautiful experience with the monkeys, the photos speak for themselves. He brought us to a soba shop for lunch that served really good soba and tea, followed by a tour to the Tokagushi Shrine. The snowfall made the trees really magical and there was even enough snow for the kids to play. Shuhei brought us to the relevant spots and highlighted the photo points. He accommodated changes to the schedule and we were grateful for this. All in all happy with the tour

easy to enter the skiing area for sight viewing. just go to direct to the cashier and show the voucher and you will get the pass. need to deposit 1000 yen per person. tips: dont forget to get the free lunch at the counter.

redemption of tickets and gear was fuss free and staff were very nice. ski resort was relatively not crowded.

We chose the 3 hour afternoon class with the instructor. great to have an instructor with us because it’s our first time here.
