Hotels in Kitakyushu

If you're looking for a hotel in Kitakyushu, just stay here! Located directly above JR Kokura Station, it offers the best accessibility to public transportation and shopping malls. The rooms are in great condition and very well soundproofed, making for a really comfortable stay. You can get from your hotel room to the JR Kokura Station platform in just 30 seconds!

Location of hotel is good, Level 2 has a sheltered walkway linked to Kokura station. When exit from the door, turn right to take the route towards stadium, this is faster as it has a travellator. It’s less walking than walking towards Lawson and walk pass the anime building to the same kokura station entrance. From kokura, can access many malls such as Vierra, AMU plaza, Saintcity. If the tower floor has discount, highly recommend to take it as the amenities are good and refilled each day of the stay. Free access to Tower library which is a quiet and cozy area to chill and enjoy the free drinks. There are hot and iced coffee, tea, calpis, Minute Maid etc. View from level 27 is good and there is a description sheet. Breakfast set menu is good, had a special fish dish on the both days I went, service is top notch. Buffet spread at level 1 is good too, has many tasty selections. After the buffet, can even takeaway a cup of coffee from the entrance coffee machine.

It was so convenient to get around because it's right next to Kokura Station. There was a bit of a drain smell in the bathroom, but I didn't stay in the accommodation for long, so I didn't pay much attention to it. The location pretty much makes up for any downsides~

Hotel Location: Several shopping streets and restaurants nearby, and only a ten-minute walk to Kokura Castle. Breakfast: The buffet breakfast is provided by the Italian restaurant downstairs. The variety cannot be compared to a regular buffet, but it has a little bit of everything, so it's acceptable. Service: Semi-self-service check-in is used. You must first register your passport and fill in your personal information at the counter, and then go to the self-service machine to collect your room card. Cleanliness: The room is quite clean and tidy, and the space is wide. Unexpectedly, there is a Panasonic massage chair. The bathroom has a regular Japanese bathroom design with a full-size bathtub, but the disadvantage is that the bathroom door cannot be locked.

It was easy to find and conveniently located, about a 3-4 minute walk from Mojiko Station. The carpet in the room wasn't clean and there were stains on the bedding, but overall the room was spacious and had a great ocean view, so it was fine. I would rebook it if I go to Mojiko again! However, I had payment errors several times when booking, and the coupon was lost due to the error, so I called the customer center several times. It was cumbersome and very inconvenient. The voucher stated two double beds, but in reality, there were two single beds. I understood because I booked the 2-night stay at a low price, but if I had booked it at a high price, I would have been embarrassed and angry.

The location is absolutely fantastic! About a 4-5 minute walk from the station? And right in front of the back gate of St. City? Muji is a 1-minute walk, and there are free breads, drinks, and even whiskey? and nuts from 3 to 10 o'clock! But the room is stuffy... They don't allow you to open the window, so the ventilation isn't good, and it's damp...!! It feels like being inside a train. But all the staff are friendly, and the rooms are clean! I'd go again if I were staying for about a day.
