Things to do in Kaohsiung

Hands down one of the best tours ive made in Taiwan. Tourguide Eric was so accomodating and despite his age, still keeps up with the challenge of trekking while explaining the history of Alishan. Also, he took very good care of the passengers who were motion sick and vomited during the long and winding drive. Alishan on the other hand was breath taking! Will definetly go back when have chance.

we went on Sunday and surprisingly it is not crowded, the rides are almost walk in and play. There are 2 wet rides that is a 100% sure wet, but that's the fun. Hair Dryer available 2x10NT or full body dryer at 100NT.

Shoushan Zoo is so beautiful after the renovation! The flow of the route is well planned, making it comfortable to walk around. The main thing is that you can see many cute animals, especially the capybara area, which is very healing. Buy your tickets online in advance, and it's super convenient to scan the code directly at the entrance, saving you queuing time. It is very suitable for families or friends to come for a walk and take pictures. Highly recommended!

The facilities are nice since it just opened, but there are a lot of people during winter vacation, and you have to wait in line for every experience area. The signs for the flow of traffic are a bit unclear. If you go in the afternoon, you won't be able to see everything. I recommend entering the park in the morning to have plenty of time to experience everything.

This museum beautifully illustrates how Taiwan has developed into a hub for science and technology, providing a great perspective on its history and future. Some of the installations are quite interactive and enjoyable.

Such a lovely afternoon! great for the family who were visiting. we had afternoon tea at the top and got to enjoy the views as well as look around the old consulate and the temple next door! highly recommend !

Very enjoyable experience. You can experience feeding animals, letting the kids enjoy the playground and relax at the cafe while watching airplanes land and take off. The animals are relatively tame and arn't too aggressive while you're feeding them.

Klook is cheaper than purchasing ticket onsite. Redemption is easy, just buy ticket in Klook and ticket will show in the app within seconds. show the staff the ticket and you are on board. Best time to visit is sunset on 6.30pm.
